ZWIFT RIDE Z005 Handlebar Steering Controllers

FOR YOUR SAFETY

  • Consult a doctor before beginning a new fitness regime: improper or excessive training may cause serious injury
  • If you experience faintness, shortness of breath, chest or knee pain, consult a doctor
  • Zwift Ride is for indoor and home use only. Please don’t try to ride it outside, you won’t get very far!
  • There are lots of moving parts when riding indoors, it’s important that you don’t leave unsupervised children or pets with your Zwift Ride, and make sure they’re not in the same area while you’re Zwifting
  • Zwift Ride must be installed on a stable and level base
  • Zwift Ride ride position adjustments should not be made while mounted on or riding the bike
  • Maximum users body mass is 120kg
  • Max power output 1800 Watts
  • Zwift Ride should only be used by persons aged 16 years and above

Adjustment points should be tightened to a maximum of:

Seat Post Clamp  10NM
Handlebar Post Clamp 10NM
Saddle Clamp Bolt 15NM
Pedals 30NM
Thru Axle 15NM
Phone Tray End Cap 10NM
Tablet Holder (if applicable) 10NM

ZWIFT RIDE CONTROLLERS

  • Do not use any power cables or adapters other than those provided by or recommended by Zwift
  • The battery charging voltage and the current should not exceed the Zwift controller rated voltage and current

BATTERY SAFETY WARNING

  • This device is equipped with built-in rechargeable Lithium batteries that cannot be removed or replaced. DO NOT disassemble or modify the controllers or battery
  • Zwift controllers should NOT go in household garbage or recycling bins
  • Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven or mechanically crushing or cutting the battery can result in an explosion
  • Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas
  • A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas
  • DO NOT use unauthorized or incompatible power adapters or data cables, which may damage the Zwift controllers or cause fire, explosion or other hazards.

Maintenance Tips

  1. Wipe your Zwift Ride and controllers clean after each ride
  2. Avoid using detergents, alcohol wipes, cleaning sprays, or any other cleaning products
  3. To avoid damage to the controllers, do not submerge in water
  4. Before cleaning your Zwift Ride controllers, turn them off by pressing and holding the Z logo button

The device should only be connected to a limited power source (under 100 VA in accordance with IEC 60950-1) or that it is only connected to a power source of classification PS2 under 100W in accordance with IEC 62368-1.
