Zonex GEN X BACnet IP Gateway
DESCRIPTION
The GATEWAY is a high performance BACnet IP device that allows the GEN X system to integrate with a Building Management System. In addition to the GEN X and its associated thermostats the GATEWAY can also discover any RMs attached to a GEN X along with their associated thermostats. One GATEWAY is required per each GEN X system.
The GATEWAY includes browser-based tools to make it easy to set it up and perform diagnostics including determination of status, network settings, node information, map descriptors and more. The GEN X system must be configured with a static IP address and connected to the same subnet as the GATEWAY.
Multiple voltages can be used to power the device from 24 VAC and 9 – 30 VDC. An Ethernet connection to a BACnet IP network is required (see Network Topology Overview). The device can be DIN rail mounted for ease of installation.
