Using these instructions
Please refer to all safety and installation requirements detailed in the Quick start guide provided with the HydroTap Command Centre, and HydroTap Command Centre installation instructions found online, prior to installation of, or any change to, the complete system.

Tools needed for tap installation
In addition to normal tools, the following (or equivalent equipment) will be required.
- 35mm diameter sheet metal hole punch for sinks.
- 35mm diameter hole saw for worktops.
- Tube spanner for fixing the tap assembly (supplied).
Be aware of the risks of hazards which could cause harm when using tools. Assess the risks before starting the installation.
Water supply pressure requirements
(1) Positioning
Position the tap such that it dispenses into the sink bowl with clearance for a cup or tea pot.
Wave Tap: Observe 100mm 360 clearance envelope around the tap head.
Ensure that taps are positioned to minimize the risks of scalding when dispensing boiling water.
Position Command Centre and Tap as close together as possible.
(2) Cut the hole & fit the spacer
- Cut a Ø35mm hole in the worktop / sink.
- Apply a light smearing of silicone sealant on the underside of the spacer to ensure a watertight fit.
Pass the tubes and USB cable through the Ø35mm
(3) Mount the tap
Pass the tubes and USB cable through the Ø35mm hole.
(4) Secure the tap
Use a tube spanner to secure the tap in place.
(5) Familiarize yourself with the tap connections
(6) Command Centre connections
(7) Cleaning and general maintenance
- Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth and then wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth.
IMPORTANT – For Touch-Free Wave Tap: - Do not use air-drying disinfectant sprays.
- Do not use abrasives to clean the sensor lenses at the sides, top and rear of the Touch-Free Wave Tap.
- This could cause permanent malfunction and void warranty.
