Zip Water support FAQ
Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
How often do I need to replace my Zip Water filter?
For safety and best taste, replace your internal or external filter cartridge at intervals of 12 months or sooner if water flow slows or an unpleasant taste or odor occurs.
-
How do I change the internal filter cartridge on my HydroTap?
Go to the filter flush menu to isolate the water supply. Relieve system pressure via the stop cock, twist the old cartridge a quarter-turn left, and pull down. Push the new cartridge up, twist right to lock, and flush 10 liters of water prior to use.
-
Where can I find the serial number on my Zip HydroTap?
You can find your product serial number by selecting 'Product Serial No.' from the main menu on the system's touchscreen. This number is required for product registration and service requests.
-
What are the ventilation requirements for a Zip HydroTap Command Centre?
Proper under-sink ventilation is crucial. The unit requires an air gap of at least 50mm on the sides. You must fit the supplied door buffers and install the appropriate vent mounting plate or grille if operating inside a closed cabinet to allow warm air to exhaust effectively.
