1 Package Contents

Note: We recommend that you use the accessories provided or approved by Yealink. The use of unapproved third-party accessories may result in poor performance.
2 Installation
Mount on top of a TV
Choose the following installation method when the thickness of the display is between 1mm and 42mm.

3 Powering RoomCast
Use the AC power adapter:

Connect to a PoE switch:

Note: You need to purchase the PoE switch and a CAT5e cable separately if you use Roomcast with PoE switch.
4 Connection

5 Setting Up RoomCast
After the RoomCast is powered on, you can perform basic settings, network configuration and system settings through the web user interface:
If you connect to a wired network:
- Connect the PC to the same LAN.
- Open a web browser and enter the device IP address (displayed in the bottom-right corner of the display) in the address bar. The default administrator username is "admin" and password is "0000".
If you do not connect to the network:
- Connect the PC to the wireless AP provided by RoomCast. (The AP name and password are displayed on the display, and the default name is Yealnk XXX)
- Open a web browser and enter the device IP address (192.168.144.1) in the address bar. The default administrator username is "admin" and password is "0000".
Note: If you do not connect to a wired network, you can connect to the wireless network after accessing the web user interface through the above methods.

Follow basic safety precautions to reduce risk of fire, electrical shock, and personal injury.
Environmental Requirements
- Place the product on a stable, level, and non-slip surface.
- Do not place the product near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or next to appliances with strong magnetic or electromagnetic fields (e.g., microwave ovens, refrigerators).
- Keep the product away from water, dust, and chemicals.
- Protect the product from aggressive liquids and vapors.
- Do not place the product on or near flammable or fire-vulnerable objects (e.g., rubber materials).
- Do not install the product in rooms with high humidity (e.g., bathrooms, laundry rooms, wet basements).
Safety Notes During Operation
- Use only Yealink-supplied or authorized spare parts and accessories.
- Do not place heavy objects on the handset or base station to prevent damage or deformation.
- Do not attempt to repair the handset or base station yourself; have all repairs carried out by authorized service personnel.
- Do not let children operate the product without guidance.
- Keep small accessories out of reach of small children to prevent accidental swallowing.
- Ensure hands are completely dry before plugging or unplugging cables.
- Do not hold the handset to your ear when the speakerphone is on or the ringer is active, as high volume may be harmful to hearing.
- During thunderstorms, stop using the product and disconnect it from the power supply to avoid lightning strikes.
- If the product is left unused for a long time, disconnect the base station from the power supply and unplug the power adapter.
- If smoke, abnormal noise, or smell is emitted from the product, disconnect it from the power supply and unplug the power adapter immediately.
- Remove the electrical cord from an outlet by pulling gently on the power adapter, not the cord.
Battery Precautions
- Do not immerse the battery in water, as this could cause short-circuiting and damage.
- Do not expose the battery to open flames or extremely high temperatures, which could cause it to explode.
- Power off the handset before removing the battery.
- Do not use the battery for any device other than this handset.
- Do not open or mutilate the battery; released electrolyte is corrosive and may damage eyes or skin.
- Use only rechargeable battery packs supplied with or expressly recommended by Yealink.
- Dispose of defective or exhausted batteries according to regulations; return them to the supplier, a licensed dealer, or a designated collection facility.
Notices of Cleaning
- Before cleaning the base station, stop using it and disconnect it from the power supply.
- Remove the battery before cleaning the handset to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Clean the product only with a slightly moist, anti-static cloth.
- Keep the power plug clean and dry. A dirty or wet power plug may lead to electric shock or other hazards.
Environmental Recycling
Never dispose of the device with domestic waste. Consult your local council for environmentally friendly disposal methods. Cardboard boxes, plastic packaging, and player components may be recycled according to prevailing regulations.
Always adhere to prevailing regulations. Failure to do so may result in fines or prosecution. The crossed-out garbage can symbol [?️] on the device indicates it should be taken to a special waste disposal center and treated separately from general urban waste at the end of its useful life.
Troubleshooting
The unit cannot supply power to Yealink device.
- Issue: Bad connection with the plug.
- Solution: 1. Clean the plug with a dry cloth. 2. Connect to another wall outlet.
- Issue: Usage environment is out of operating temperature range.
- Solution: Use in the operating temperature range.
- Issue: Cable between the unit and Yealink device is connected incorrectly.
- Solution: Connect the cable correctly.
- Issue: Cannot connect the cable properly.
- Solution: 1. You may have connected a wrong Yealink device. 2. Use the correct power supply.
- Issue: Some dust, etc., may be in the port.
- Solution: Clean the port.
