Yealink WPP20

Yealink WPP20 wireless cast supports sharing over two different transport types while working with Yealink RoomCast.

Existing Network (Transmission over Infrastructure)

This mode involves a connection over an existing Wi-Fi or Ethernet network. Typically, the existing network is an internal LAN that can be either Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Simply connect the laptop to the same office network as Yealink RoomCast, and Yealink WPP20 will automatically guide the screencast stream to Yealink RoomCast.

RoomCast wireless access point

RoomCast creates a network using its integrated wireless access point (WAP). Yealink WPP20 will automatically connect the laptop to RoomCast's network. Yealink RoomCast can also function as a Wireless Router to forward other data to the Internet.

Yealink WPP20 automatically chooses the network to transmit data, with the existing network being the preferred option when available.

Yealink WPP30

Yealink WPP30 is equipped with both USB-A and a full-featured USB-C port, offering different transport options based on the USB type connection.

Connect by USB-A port

The transport type for USB-A connection is the same as WPP20.

Connect by USB-C port

WPP30 can operate as an independent wireless adapter. The screen stream is transmitted directly between WPP30 and Yealink RoomCast. In this mode, no additional network infrastructure or network changes are required for the user laptop.
