WRIGHT V11 Wind Chain

Installation Guide
For Safety Chain
Step 1

- Attach the bracket on the spring end of the chain to the head jamb, 18″ from the hinge side of the side jamb. Note: Mount this bracket at approximately 45° on the head jamb with the chain facing the hinges.
Step 2

- Mount the other bracket on top of the door, 19″ from the hinge edge of the door, in a horizontal position with the T-shape of the bracket on the hinge side.
- This allows a 90° opening of the door. If a greater opening is desired, mount each bracket slightly closer to the hinge edge of the door. To allow full opening or removal of the door, merely detach the chain from the bracket.
Step 3

- To attach the hold-up spring, close the door and hook the spring to the lowest hanging link.
Step 4

- Pull the spring up toward the hinge side of the door and attach it to the head jamb with a nail, about 3″ from the side jamb.
