Installation Instructions

Please read enclosed instructions carefully before installation.
- Select desired hole pattern. Select either 3″ hole spacing or 1-3/4″ hole spacing. Use the 3″ hole spacing (drill new holes) when replacing 1-1/2″ hole pattern.
- Screw adjustable bosses into outside assembly. Fig 1.
- Check clearance for latch, if latch does not clear, drill new holes according to template.
- Insert spindle and insert through installation holes with the lever handle correctly oriented.
- Guide outside assembly over the spindle, insert and tighten screws. (Do not overtighten).
- Close door and install strike plate (use shims if necessary so bolt is engaged at least 1/4″).
