How to Wear

For optimal fit and audio performance, try the different ear tip sizes provided (S, M, L).

Insert the earbuds into your ears and gently twist for a secure fit.

First Time Use

Place the earbuds into the charging case to prepare for first-time use.

Power On & Connect

Open the charging case to power on the earbuds and enter pairing mode.

For Other Devices: Navigate to your device's Bluetooth settings and select "JBL TUNE230NC TWS" to connect.

For Android 6.0+ Devices: Utilize the Fast Pair feature for quick pairing. Tap to pair, and the device will be linked to your Google Account.

Dual Connect + Sync

Stereo Mode: Use both earbuds simultaneously for an immersive stereo experience.

Mono Mode: Use either the left (L) or right (R) earbud independently for calls or music.

Controls

Control playback, calls, and features with intuitive touch gestures:

Left (L) Earbud:

• [Tap x1]: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
• [Tap x2]: Next track.
• [Tap x3]: Previous track.
• [Hold]: Activate ANC, Ambient Aware, or TalkThru modes (2 seconds).

Right (R) Earbud:

• [Tap x1]: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
• [Tap x2]: Next track.
• [Tap x3]: Previous track.
• [Hold]: Activate ANC, Ambient Aware, or TalkThru modes (2 seconds).

Voice Assistants: Access Bixby, Siri, or other voice assistants by enabling them through the JBL Headphones app and assigning them to your preferred earbud (L/R).

Power Off

Place both earbuds into the charging case and close the lid to power them off.

Manual Setup

Connect to a New Bluetooth Device: With earbuds out of the case, press and hold the touch area on both earbuds until they flash blue. Then, select "JBL TUNE230NC TWS" on your device's Bluetooth menu.

Factory Reset: With earbuds out of the case, press and hold the touch area on both earbuds for 5 seconds until they flash blue. Place them in the case and close the lid.

Do More with the App

Explore advanced features like Equalizer (EQ) settings, voice assistant management, and personalized control configurations within the JBL Headphones app.

Charging

Connect the charging case to a power source using the provided USB Type-C cable.

• A 10-minute charge provides up to 2 hours of playback.
• A full 2-hour charge provides up to 8 hours of playtime with Bluetooth and ANC on, or up to 10 hours with Bluetooth on and ANC off.

Understand the status indicators:

Earbuds:

• ? Flashing Blue: Bluetooth Connecting
• ? Solid Blue: Bluetooth Connected
• ? Slow Flashing Blue: Bluetooth Not Connected

Charging Case:

• ⚡ Flashing LED: Charging
• ? Solid LED: Fully Charged
• No LED: Low Battery

A flashing indicator also signifies a factory reset process.
