How to Wear

For a perfect fit and optimal audio performance, try different sizes of ear tips. Ensure a secure fit by inserting the earbuds correctly into your ears.

First Time Use

To begin using your JBL TUNE230NC TWS, place the earbuds in the charging case.

Power On & Connect

To power on and connect your earbuds:

Open the charging case. The earbuds will power on automatically.
For initial pairing, open the Bluetooth settings on your device and select "JBL TUNE230NC TWS".
For Android 6.0+ devices, Fast Pair enables quick connection.

Dual Connect + Sync

Use both earbuds in Stereo Mode for an immersive experience, or use a single earbud in Mono Mode.

Controls

Control your music and calls with intuitive touch controls:

Tap x 1: Play/Pause, Answer/End Call
Tap x 2: Next Track, Reject Call
Tap x 3: Previous Track
Hold (2s): Activate Voice Assistant (Bixby/Siri®/Google Assistant), ANC/Ambient Aware/TalkThru toggle

* Enable advanced controls and voice assistant features by connecting your earbuds to the JBL Headphones app.

Power Off

To power off, place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid.

Manual Setup

Connect to a new Bluetooth device: Press and hold the touch control on both earbuds for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode.

Factory Reset: With the earbuds in the charging case and the lid open, press and hold the touch control on both earbuds for more than 10 seconds until the LEDs flash.

Do More with the App

The JBL Headphones app offers extensive customization options, including:

Voice Assistant: Set up your preferred voice assistant (Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa).
Gestures: Customize touch controls for playback and voice assistant functions.
EQ: Adjust the equalizer settings to personalize your audio experience.
ANC & Ambient Aware: Control Active Noise Cancelling and Ambient Aware modes.

Charging

Charge your earbuds by placing them in the charging case. A 10-minute charge provides up to 2 hours of playtime.
