Problems & Solutions

1. Lever cannot be pressed down when punching.
   • Reason: Paper scraps or other hard materials stay inside the paper cutter; punching capacity exceeded.
   • Solution: Clean out the rubbish with hardboard; operate according to the manual.
2. Slanted paper margin
   • Reason: Paper is lopsided when inserting.
   • Solution: Remove the paper and put it back.
3. Slanted plastic comb open
   • Reason: Binding mechanism is distorted; comb opening hook is distorted.
   • Solution: Press to open the comb opening mechanism and use just the hook.
4. Paper punching not complete; hard to pull out the paper
   • Reason: Exceeding the max. punching capacity.
   • Solution: Reduce the punching thickness (follow the manual).
5. Paper could not touch the rack when inserting
   • Reason: Paper is old, with the side rolling up.
   • Solution: Smooth the paper and insert again.

WARMING & ATTENTIONS

1. Read this operation manual carefully before using.
2. Keep the machine separate from children.
3. Keep the machine away from fire and liquids.
4. Put the machine on a stable and safe place in order to prevent it from falling or causing any injury to people or the machine itself.
5. Test the machine with some scrap paper before formally punching and binding, to make sure the position is correct for punching.
6. Please do not let children operate it separately.
7. Take out the surplus parts from the packing box. Put the machine on a balanced and safe place to avoid falling off or causing any injury to people or the machine.
8. Operate the machine strictly as per the manuals; especially, pay attention to the max punching and binding capacity.
9. Please test the machine before you punch the official documents.
10. When punching the plastic covers, we suggest that the cover should be clipped between two pieces of paper.
11. Please don’t use the machine to punch hard materials such as metal to avoid damage to the machine.
12. When clamping the plastic ring, pls don’t put your fingers inside this area; otherwise, you will get hurt.
13. The machine is only designed to use a plastic ring.
14. Please don’t put the machine in wet places to avoid any liquid dripping inside.
15. For the first use, make a punch with blotting paper to suck up excess lube from the blade.
16. The product complies with relevant standards and regulations.
17. Installation of this device must comply with all applicable regulations, and it should only be operated in well-ventilated areas. Please read the user manual before installing and using this equipment.
18. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
19. Children shall not play with the appliance.

OPERATING GUIDE

Place the machine on a steady and even surface before using!
For the first use, make a punch with blotting paper to suck up excess lube from the blade.

Installation Operations

1. After unpacking, locate and arrange the main unit and two parts as shown in the diagram.
2. Install the handle on the main unit and fix it with a nut.

   

Adjustable Operation

• Adjust to the appropriate position according to the size of the paper.

• Adjust the paper punch margin and hole size as needed.

  

Punching Operation

1. Depending on the size of the binding file, select the location of the binder and insert the file.
2. After inserting the file, press the handle down and lift the handle.

   

3. Release the handle, pull out the paper, and the hole is finished.

   

4. Select the correct size of 3:1 wirebinding ring you need, and loadintot on the slot system.
   Place the perforated paper and binding cover on the wire spine to keep them stacked.
5. Get them to cling to the punching metal; make sure the wire binding spine both ends rreach the binding metal.

   

6. Pull the handle downward to close the wire binding spine so as to complete binding.
7. Release the handle, remove the paper, and the binding is complete.

   

Choose the comb according to the thickness of the document. The following form is for your reference to choose the proper comb.

MAINTENANCE

Clean up the waste bin.
The waste bin, which is located at the back of the machine, is dedicated to the waste from punching. The frequency of cleaning up the waste bin depends on the frequency you use the machine.

1. Pull out the waste bin from the back of the machine
2. Pour the waste into the rubbish bin.
3. Then insert the waste bin again.
   Please clean up the waste bin frequently!
