Basic configuration
User instruction
- ON/OFF instruction
POWER ON: press ”
” ON/OFF button for 3 seconds
POWER OFF: press ” ” ON/OFF button for 3 seconds and then press “power off” on the screen - Magnetic card
Put the magnetic card into the magnetic card slot to read, magnetic side towards the LCD (refer to the sign for card identification. keep smooth, uniform when swiping the card. - Contact IC card
Insert IC card into the IC card slot, the metal side towards keypad, please refer to card identification. - Contactless card
Put the contactless card near the contactless card reader zone on the device, and make contactless card transaction. Put one contactless card every time to avoid conflict if putting more cards. - Charging
Connect the Type C cable to POS terminal, connect the other connector to 5V/2A power adaptor to charge.

Instruction for installation and usage
- Please use device under the specified voltage range, don’t use too low or too high voltage.
- Please make sure the connection is correct when connecting the device to the host.
- Don’t damage the cable, if the cable is damaged, please don’t use it anymore.
- Don’t put the device in direct sunlight, high temperature, humidity, dusty or strong corrosive gas.

To connect the Verifone to your WiFi network
After the bootup, Configure Network button appears on the screen. Tap on the Configure Network button.

The device will scan for nearby Wi-Fi networks. Select the network you want to connect to.
Enter the password. If your are using the default password, it is 1 alpha alpha 66831. 4.
Choose the required role that needs password reset from Security Role drop down (For illustrative purpose Admin option is chosen here. Please follow the same for other applicable roles). Enter the new password to be changed in the ‘Password’ field. Press ‘Save’ button to change the password.

Press and hold down the 8 key for a three seconds and then release.
Enter the password 1 Alpha Alpha (purple key in the middle) 66831 or 11739.
It will display ‘Keyboard lock yes or no’
Select No.
Select the Red X key until you are back on the sale screen.

Is there a way to change the setting to show the card full number while manually entry the card number? Instead of the later numbers to be demonstrated as *****.

You can change it by following the steps below:
1. Press “Settings” on the screen.
2. Press “Display Settings” on the screen.
3. Press “Card Number Format” on the screen.
4. Select “Full Number” from the list and press “OK” to save the setting.
5. Press “Exit” to exit this menu.
