The device should be installed by after-sales service personnel. Verifone shall not be liable for any consequences arising from unauthorized changes to the equipment or replacement of connected equipment and cables not as specified.

1. Basic Configuration

The Verifone T650p features the following components:

Charging indicator LED: Indicates charging status.
The radio frequency indicator LED: Indicates RF card activity.
Front camera: Used for scanning barcodes or other imaging tasks.
Touch screen: The primary interface for user interaction.
IC card slot: For inserting chip-based payment cards.
MIC: Built-in microphone.
RF card reading area: For contactless card payments (NFC). A diagram shows a contactless card being tapped with the symbol for contactless payment.
Printing paper storehouse: Holds the thermal printer paper roll.
Magnetic card slot: For swiping traditional magnetic stripe cards.

The device also includes:

The headset port: For audio output.
The Type C port: For charging and data transfer.
ON/OFF button: Powers the device on or off.
The volume buttons: Adjusts the audio volume.
Rear camera: Optional camera on the back of the device.
The flash: Accompanies the rear camera.
Battery cover: Access to the battery compartment.
Speaker: For audio output.

2. User Instruction

2.1 ON/OFF Instruction

POWER ON: Press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds.
POWER OFF: Press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds, then select "power off" on the screen.

2.2 Magnetic Card

Insert the magnetic card into the magnetic card slot with the magnetic stripe facing the LCD. Swipe the card smoothly and uniformly. Refer to the sign on the device for card orientation.

2.3 Contact IC Card

Insert the IC card into the IC card slot with the chip facing the keypad. Refer to the card identification markings on the device.

2.4 Contactless Card

Place the contactless card near the contactless card reader zone on the device to perform a contactless transaction. To avoid conflicts, present only one contactless card at a time.

2.5 Charging

Connect the Type C cable to the POS terminal and the other end to a 5V/2A power adapter to charge the device.

4. Instruction for Installation and Usage

Please use the device within the specified voltage range. Avoid using it with voltage that is too low or too high.
Please ensure the connection is correct when connecting the device to the host.
Do not damage the cable. If the cable is damaged, do not use it.
Do not place the device in direct sunlight, high temperature, humidity, dusty environments, or expose it to strong corrosive gases.
