Panel Introduction

  1. IN Jack
    1/4″ (6.35mm) mono input connection for guitar or other instruments.
  2.  EXP/FS Jack
    1/4″ (6.35mm) TRS input for connecting an external expression pedal or footswitch controller.
  3. OUT L (MONO)/R Jack
    1/4″ (6.35mm) pair of TS stereo unbalanced output connections. For mono output, use only the L (MONO) jack.
  4.  LCD Display
    The color LCD displays the GP-50’s patch numbers, patch names, and other operational information.
  5. PARA Knob (with enter button)
    On the main display screen, turn to switch patches, press to edit the effect chain, and then hold to change the order of effect modules.
  6.  Quick Access Knobs
    Turn to adjust parameters displayed on the lower part of the screen. Each knob’s function varies depending on the parameter shown.
  7. SAVE Button
    Whenever a patch is modified, the main display will show a symbol indicating that the parameter has been changed. Use the SAVE button to store, rename, or copy the patch. Press the SAVE button again to save the changes.
  8. EXIT/BT Button
    Press to return to the previous screen, hold to toggle the BT wireless function on/off.
  9. GLOBAL Button
    Press to enter the Global Settings menu, where you can edit the GP-50’s global parameters. Hold the GLOBAL and SAVE buttons simultaneously to power on/off when using battery power.
  10. DRUM Button
    Press to play drums. Hold to enter the Drum Machine Edit menu, where you can edit drum parameters.
  11.  2 Foot Switches
    Use to change patches, turn effects on/off, tap tempo, or enter the tuner, etc.
  12. PHONES Jack
    1/8″ (3.5mm) TRS output for connecting headphones.
  13.  MIDI Jack
    1/8″ (3.5mm) TRS jacks for connecting external MIDI devices.
  14.  USB Jack
    USB 2.0 Type-C port for connecting to a computer for data transfer or as an audio interface. It can also be connected to a mobile phone as an audio interface. Additionally, it supports connection to a USB power adapter or power bank to provide power to the GP-50.

Caution
To force the device to shut down, press and hold the SAVE, EXIT, and GLOBAL buttons simultaneously for more than 2 seconds. Please be aware that a forced shutdown may result in data loss. It is recommended to use this function only as a last resort when the device is unresponsive.
