Important Safety Instructions

Operating Instructions

From Ground Control Panel

1. Turn the Key Switch to “Ground” position.

From Platform Control Panel

1. Turn the Key Switch to “Platform” position.
2. Pull out the Emergency Stop button. The buzzer may sound briefly.
3. Enable the drive function by slowly pressing the Proportional Joystick in the desired direction.
   Note: On most models, the lift function is disabled while driving, and vice versa.
4. To Raise Platform: Activate the Lift Enable trigger (usually on the joystick) and push the joystick forward (or press the dedicated “Up” button).
5. Steering: Use the toggle switch (usually left thumb) to steer the rear wheels while stationary or moving slowly.
6. Lowering: Pull the joystick back (or press “Down”).

Emergency Lowering

If power fails, the platform can be lowered from the ground:

1. Locate the Emergency Descent Valve (usually a manual release knob near the hydraulic manifold on the base).
2. Slowly turn the knob counterclockwise.
3. The platform will descend by gravity. Release the knob to stop.
4.  Transportation (Loading & Unloading)

• Loading Surface: Ensure the trailer or truck bed is level and has sufficient load capacity.
• Positioning: Drive the lift onto the transport vehicle using platform controls.
• The chassis should be fully lowered.

Securing:

• Apply the parking brake (if equipped) or chock the wheels.
• Use chains or straps of adequate rating. Secure at the designated tie-down points on the chassis. DO NOT secure to the guardrails, axles, or hydraulic lines.

Maintenance

• Battery Maintenance: Check electrolyte levels weekly (for lead-acid batteries). Keep terminals clean and tight. Charge the battery immediately after each use to prevent sulfation.
• Hydraulic System: Check oil level daily. Change hydraulic oil filter after every [xxx] hours of operation.
