- Timing Capacity: 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds
Time-of-Day Clock Setting
- Press and hold the CLOCK button for 3 seconds. (Time will slowly flash on display.)
- Press the HR (hours), MIN (minutes), or SEC (seconds) button to advance time. Press and hold down the HR, MIN or SEC button to rapidly advance display.
- Once the desired time of day is on display, press the CLOCK button to confirm your entry or wait 3 seconds and time will save if no action is taken.
12/24-hour time— With the clock on display, pressing and holding the START/STOP button for 5 seconds will toggle between 12 and 24-hour time-of-day format.
COUNTDOWN ALARM TIMING
- Press the TIMER1 or TIMER2 button. The display will show TIMER1 or TIMER2. If the channel is running, press START/STOP button and then press CLEAR button. Display should read 0:00 00.
- Set desired countdown time:
- Press the HR (hours) button to advance hour digits. Each press is confirmed with a sound. Press and hold down the HR button to rapidly advance hours.
- Press Mthe IN (minutes) button to advance minutes digits. Each press is confirmed with a sound. Press and hold down MIN button to rapidly advance minutes.
- Press the SEC (seconds) button to advance the seconds digits. Each press is confirmed with a sound. Press and hold down SEC button to rapidly advance seconds.
- Once the desired time is on display, press START/STOP to begin timing down.
- Both timing channels can be running simultaneously, simply fol-low steps 1 through 3 to set a countdown time for other channel. When a channel is timing but is not being displayed, the corresponding channel indicator (TIMER1 or TIMER2) will flash on the display.
- When the timing channel reaches 0:00 00 an alarm will sound and channel will begin counting up.
When multiple channels are alarming, the alarm for the most recent channel to reach 0:00:00 will sound. Example: If TIMER1 is alarming (4 beeps) and then TIMER2 reaches 0:00 00, you will hear the alarm for TIMER2 (2 beeps).
- The alarm will sound for one minute and then turn off automati-cally to preserve battery life. To turn the alarm off manually, press START/STOP.
- When multiple channels are alarming, pressing any button turns off the alarm and stops the count-up timing for the channel being displayed; the other channel will continue counting up. To stop the count-up timing for the other channel, press the corresponding channel button (TIMER1 or TIMER2) and then press the START/STOP button. To clear the display, press the CLEAR button. (Note: Pressing the
- CLEAR button will clear the display to 0:00:00 and will also clear the last programmed time for that channel. See
- “Memory Recall” section for recalling the last programmed time.)
CORRECTING AN ENTRY
- If an error is made during an entry, press the CLEAR button to clear the display to zero. If you wish to clear an entry when time is running, you must first stop the timing by pressing the START/STOP button, then press the CLEAR button. A timing channel will only clear when time is stopped.
MEMORY RECALL
When timing repetitive intervals, the memory function will recall the last programmed time for each channel. This feature allows the timer to be dedicated to frequently timed tests. The timer will return to the desired time period again and again.
- Press the TIMER1 or TIMER2 button. The display will show TIMER1 or TIMER2.
- Set desired count-up time:
- Press the HR (hours) button to advance hours. Each press is confirmed with a sound. Press and hold down the HR button to rapidly advance the hours.
- Press the MIN (minutes) button to advance the minutes digits. Each press is confirmed with a sound. Press and hold down MIN button to rapidly advance minutes.
- Press SEC (seconds) button to advance seconds. Each press is confirmed with a sound. Press and hold down SEC button to rapidly advance the seconds.
- Press MEMORY to save time to timer memory. MEMORY will display on the LCD.
- Press the START/STOP button to begin counting down.
- Once time has completed, an alarm will sound.
- Press the START/STOP button to stop alarm.
- Press CLEAR to clear the alarm.
- Press MEMORY to recall saved time in timer memory.
You may repeat this process as often as needed for each channel. Note: If the CLEAR button is pressed when the time is stopped, it clears the display and the memory for the channel being displayed.
STOPWATCH (COUNT-UP) TIMING
- Press the TIMER1 or TIMER2 button. Display will show TIMER1 or TIMER2. If the timer is running, press the START/STOP button and then press CLEAR button. Display should read 0:00 00.
- Press the START/STOP button to begin count-up timing.
- Both timing channels can be running simultaneously; simply follow steps 1 through 2 to begin count-up timing for the other channels.
- When a channel is timing but not displayed, the corresponding channel indicator (TIMER1 or TIMER2) will flash on the display. If both channels are timing (TIMER12) will flash on display.
- When timing is completed for a channel (TIMER1 or TIMER2) and timing has been stopped, press the CLEAR button to clear the display to 0:00 00.
TIMEOUT
Any channel may be stopped at any time. Press the corresponding channel button (TIMER1 or TIMER2) to display the channel, then press the START/STOP button. Timing may be resumed by pressing
START/STOP button
ALL OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES
If this timer does not function properly for any reason, replace the battery with a new high-quality battery (see “Battery Replacement” section). Low battery power can occasionally cause any number of “apparent” operational difficulties. Replacing the battery with a new fresh battery will solve most difficulties. BATTERY REPLACEMENT
An incorrect display, no display or operational difficulties indicate that the battery should be replaced. Slide open the battery cover on the back of the timer. Insert new battery with positive side facing you. Replace battery cover.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I change the battery in the timer?
To change the battery, carefully remove the back cover of the timer and replace the old battery with a new one following the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
