Product Usage Instructions
Installation
- Ensure that the indicator LED is off before proceeding.
- Mount the DMX Fixture Driver on the included DIN Rail.
- Connect the DMX input cable from the DMX console or controller to the DMX input port on the device.
- Connect the DMX output cable from the device to the light fixtures.
- Terminate COM D1- and COM D1+ as per construction documents.
Branch Cable Types
Use Cat 5 cable (minimum) for branching. Do not connect to SmartNet or SmartPacks.
Tips and Notes
- Use minimum Cat 5 cable and ensure cables are plugged into branch ports of room managers.
- If the device has communication, AC will be shown on the address display.
- For DMX input, ensure cabling meets DMX 512 electrical specifications and correct polarity.
- For DMX output, ensure cabling meets DMX 512 electrical specifications and correct polarity.
- If there is no communication with the device, communication LEDs will flash red/green.
