Installation of Universal Gateway Enclosure Kit
The Universal Gateway Enclosure Kit includes the device mounted inside a plastic enclosure. Follow these steps to install the kit:
- Open the enclosure carefully.
- Place the device securely inside the enclosure.
- Refer to the I&O Manual for further installation instructions specific to your model.
Wiring Harness Installation
Depending on the kit you have, follow the appropriate steps for wiring harness installation.
- With Wiring Harness: For AMP 1000-4000 and Arctic 1500-6000 kits that are shop mounted & wired.
- Less Wiring Harness: For AMP-L 400-1000L, ARC-1000, APEX & Evolution kits that are shipped loose.
ProtoNode vs ProtoAir
The ProtoNode is the older communication gateway, while the ProtoAir is the newer model that includes WiFi. Ensure you choose the appropriate gateway for your needs.
