Charging the Headset

  1. When the LED indicator flashes RED, please charge the headset.
  2. Connect the headset to a booted PC or a charger with the supplied charging cable. The LED indicator lights in steady RED.
  3. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the headset. The LED indicator lights in steady BLUE when the headset is fully charged.
    Note:
    Please recharge the headset at least once every 2 months if not in use.

Pairing Procedure

  1. Slide the On/Off switch to the “On” position to power on the headset. The alternating flash of red and blue lights signals that the headset is in pairing mode.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and search for new devices. Select “TK-HS012” when it appears, then click to pair. Once successfully connected, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly, and your phone will display “Connected to TK-HS012”. A voice prompt saying “Connected” will be audible.
    Note:
    The headset can also be connected to a Bluetooth-enabled PC by following the above steps.

Pairing with Two Devices

  1. Power on the headset to enter pairing mode. Activate Bluetooth on your first device, search for “TK-HS012”, and click to connect.
  2. Once successfully connected, turn off Bluetooth on the first device. The headset will re-enter pairing mode. Now, activate Bluetooth on your second device, search for “TK-HS012”, and click to connect.
  3. Reactivate Bluetooth on the first device and click on “TK-HS012” to reconnect. Now the headset is connected with two devices.
    Note:
    Only one device can stream audio at a time. If you wish to play music from the second device, ensure that playback on the first device is stopped. The same applies when making calls.

What this warranty covars

Shenzhen Unichain Technology Co., LTD. (Manufacturer: “Unichain”) warrants to the original purchaser of this TECKNET product that the product shall be free of defects in design, assembly, material, or workmanship.

What the period of coverage is.
Unichain warrants the TECKNET product for 12 Months.

What will we do to correct problems?
Unichain will repair or replace, at its option, any defective product free of charge (except for shipping charges for the product).

What is not covered by this warranty?
All above warranties are null and void if the TECKNET product is not provided to Unichain for inspection upon Unchain’s request at the sole expense of the purchaser, or if Unichain determines that the TECKNET product has been improperly installed, altered in any way, or tampered with. The TECKNET Product Warranty does not protect against acts of God such as flood, earthquake, lightning, war, vandalism, theft, normal-use wear and tear, erosion, depletion, obsolescence, abuse, damage due to low voltage disturbances (e.g. brownouts or sags), non-authorized program, or system equipment modification or alteration.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to reconnect? What should I do when the connection fails or after a long-distance disconnection?

When the headset successfully pairs with your mobile phone, it automatically reconnects each time its turned on. If it does not auto-connect please manually connect the headset following the Pairing Procedure. The headset will automatically turn off if it does not reconnect within 10 minutes.

How do I delete pairing records?

Press and hold the MFB and Volume- buttons for 5-6 seconds to delete the pairing record of the headset. If you delete the pairing records, the headset will not be able to reconnect to the devices it was previously connected to. You will need to establish a connection again.

What is the password for pairing?

If the device prompts for a password/PIN, try entering one of the following: 0000, 8888, 1111, or 1234. Note: Most devices will not require you to enter a password.

What devices can be used to charge the headset?

The headset can be charged using car chargers, travel chargers, computer USB ports, etc., provided that the DC voltage is 5V and the current exceeds 500mA.

What should I do if I encounter issues such as the headset not turning on or failing to connect?

You can try resetting the headset by plugging in the charging cable to charge it. After it turns off, restart it and see if it operates normally. If problems persist, please reach out to our customer service for technical support.

When will the headset automatically shut down?

The headset will automatically shut down if it remains unconnected for more than 10 minutes or when the battery level is low.

Can I use the headset while it's charging?

No, the headset will automatically power off and cannot be turned on during charging

Can I make modifications to the device?

No, any changes or modifications not approved may void your authority to operate the equipment.

Is there any restriction on the usage conditions?

The device can be used in portable exposure conditions without any restrictions.
