OPERATION

ARMING THE S080K
Set the function switch to “ALARM” position.
When a protected door or window is opened, the alarm will sound immediately and continuously until disarmed.

DISARMING THE S080K
Set the function switch to the “OFF”position to disarm the unit.

CAUTION
THE MAGNETIC SENSOR ALARM IS EXTREMELY LOUD, FOR YOUR SAFETY, NEVER PLACE THE UNIT CLOSE TO YOUR EARS. TO TEST THE ALARM, DIRECT THE UNIT AWAY FROM YOU AT ARM’S LENGTH AND ACTIVATE.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Your S080K Mini Magnetic Sensor Alarm is used to protect your home from unauthorized entry by detecting the opening of a door or window. The S080K is furnished with its own batteries. ALARM MODE When the opening of a protected door or window is detected by the sensor, the S080K will sound an alarm immediately.

INSTALLATION

Peel double sided tape (included) from the back of the S080K alarm and magnet. Mount the S080K on the door or window. Mount the magnet to the frame of the door or window. (Fig. 1)

The magnet must be mounted no further than 1/4″ from the alarm body – If the unit goes off continuously when you turn it on, check the distance between the magnet and alarm body. The magnetic sensor must be mounted on the left side of the alarm body. Be sure the arrow on the magnet lines up with the line on the left side of the alarm body.
Batteries are installed in the unit already. Please make sure to open the cover and remove the plastic battery tag which may have been installed for battery protection. To replace the batteries, press the cover down and pull it out. Replace with three new AG13 button cell batteries. (Fig.2)
