Getting started
- Install a 9 V battery by sliding off the rear cover.
- Plug the attached cable into your device’s headphone input or lightning adapter.
- Plug a pair of headphones into the headphone input.
- Connect a microphone via an XLR cable.
- Move the Power switch to the ON position.
If you have connected a condenser microphone, select the +48 V position to supply phantom power. The 48 V LED on the front panel will light red. - While speaking into the microphone, turn up the GAIN wheel. If your voice distorts when singing or speaking loudly, turn the GAIN control back down a bit.
- Download your favorite TC Helicon app to begin experimenting with vocal effects.
