Before the first use

Thank you for purchasing the WIRELESS LED CONTROLLER. Before using it, please read this manual carefully. Please keep it for future reference.

Charging
Before connecting for the first time, fully charge the controller’s battery. To charge the battery, connect the controller to a USB port using the supplied USB cable. The LED indicator on the front of the controller will flash slowly in orange while charging and will turn off when the charge is complete. Press and hold the PS button for 10 seconds to turn the controller off.

Connecting the controller to PS4

  1. Turn on the console.
  2. Connect the controller in sleep mode to one of the console’s USB ports using the USB cable provided.
  3. Press the PS button: the controller connects and the LED indicator lights up. The controller is ready for use.

For subsequent connections, simply press the PS button on the controller, and it will automatically connect to the console. You can also wake the console by pressing the PS button after the first pairing.

Connecting the controller to the PC
Wired mode

  1. Turn on your PC.
  2. Connect the controller in sleep mode to one of the console’s USB ports using the USB cable provided.
  3. Press the PS button: the controller connects and the LED indicator lights up. The controller is ready for use. It’s recognized as “Controller (Xbox 360 for Windows)” in the game controllers list.

The controller uses the X-Input protocol by default for playing the latest games. Some older games use the Direct Input protocol. To switch to Direct Input mode, hold the PS button for 5 seconds. You can switch from one mode to the other at any time using this procedure.

Wireless mode

  1. Turn on your PC and activate Bluetooth.
  2. In the Bluetooth settings, click “Add a new Bluetooth device”.
  3. On the controller, press PS + SHARE at the same time for 5 seconds.
  4. Choose “Wireless controller” from the list of available devices.
  5. The controller connects, and the LED indicator lights up. The controller is ready for use.

The controller uses the Direct Input protocol in wireless mode.

Programming the RGB LEDS
When the controller is on, the default light mode is monochrome gradient. You can change the light mode :

  • Fixed colours: press R3 & D-Pad up to change to switch colour.
  • Color gradient: press R3 & D-Pad down I to change to color gradient mode

Turbo function

You can affect a turbo or auto function to the keys: A//X/O/L1/R1/L2/R2.

  • Turbo: for the first time, press one of the keys listed above, then Turbo. The key has now the turbo function, so everytime you press it, it will repeat quickly.
  • Automatic: for the second time, press one of the keys listed above, then Turbo. The key has now the auto function, press it once and the action will repeat endlessly.
  • Clear the turbo function: for the third time, press one of the keys listed above, then Turbo. The key is now reset to original.

IMPORTANT: The turbo function is not available in all games; only some can support it.

eSport M1 & M2 buttons
You can affect to the keys t/l/-/→/Д/O/X/O/L1/R1/L2/R2/L3/R3 to M1 or M2 buttons. By default, M1 is mapped to O, and M2 is mapped to X.

  1. Press and hold the M key, then press Share. The LED indicator will turn orange.
  2. Then press the key that you would like to affect and press M again to save the setting.

Example: to map R1 on M1, press and hold M1, then press Share. The LED indicator turns on orange. The press R1, then M1 again and M1 is now mapped to R1.
To clear the mapping, press the M key, then Share, then the M key again.

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to connect the controller to the console, press the RESET button located in a small hole on the back of the controller with a paper clip. This will reset the controller. If the controller does not work properly, go to www.subsonic.com to update the controller driver.

Precautions for use

  • Do not use the controller for any purpose other than those described in this document.
  • To avoid electrical shock, store and use the controller in a dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight.

Exposure to high temperatures may damage the body or internal electronics of the unit.

  • Do not disassemble.
  • Stop using the controller immediately if you experience fatigue, discomfort, or pain. If these effects persist, consult your doctor.
  • Take regular breaks during play.
  • Do not allow small children to play with the controller. This product is not intended for children under the age of 3.
