The Insta360 X5 is an advanced 8K 360° action camera designed to capture immersive video and high-resolution photos. 1. Insert Memory Card and Battery

Before first use, ensure a compatible MicroSD card (not included) is inserted into the camera. The MicroSD card slot is located within the battery compartment. Press the latches on the battery cover to open it, insert the MicroSD card in the direction shown, and then reinsert the battery, ensuring the orange mark is not visible.

2. Activate Camera via Insta360 App

To activate your Insta360 X5, you must download the Insta360 app from your device's App Store or Google Play. Power on the camera by pressing the power button once. Ensure your phone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled. Open the Insta360 app, enable all required authorizations, and tap the yellow camera icon at the bottom to find and connect to your camera. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete activation.

Basic Shooting and Preview

The X5 films in 360° video mode by default. Press the shutter button once to start recording, and press it again to stop. Swipe right from the edge of the touchscreen to enter the album and preview anjeun files. Swipe the screen to change the angle for 360° files. Tap pause to delete or favorite a file. Swipe left from the edge of the touchscreen to return to the shooting interface.

Interval Mode (Timelapse)

Interval mode allows the camera to automatically take continuous photos at specific time intervals, which are then compiled into a time-lapse video. You can select intervals from 0.5 seconds up to 120 seconds, and set the duration from 3 minutes to 10 hours. Resolutions available are 5.7K, 8K, and 11K, with a fixed frame rate of 30fps. For 5.7K, intervals can be as short as 0.5s. For 8K and 11K, the shortest interval is 2s. This mode is suitable for capturing static time-lapse videos.

Road Mode (Loop Recording)

Road Mode enables loop recording, where the camera continuously records within a designated SD card space. When the allocated space is full, the oldest recordings are automatically overwritten. You can adjust the loop space, which determines the duration of the recording before overwriting begins. This mode is ideal for use as a dashcam or for continuous recording during long journeys, ensuring you capture all critical moments without running out of storage.

PureVideo Mode (Low Light)

PureVideo mode is designed to improve image quality in low-light environments. It automatically optimizes brightness and color for optimal image quality. When using PureVideo, ensure the camera has good airflow due to higher power consumption. This mode supports 5.7K and 8K resolutions up to 30fps. For low-light shooting, 5.7K is recommended for better results, while 8K offers ultra HD quality with larger file ukuran.

Replaceable Lenses

The Insta360 X5 features fully replaceable lenses. In case of damage or scratches, new lenses can be swapped in seconds using the included tools and lenses from the Insta360 X5 Lens Replacement Kit. This ensures durability and longevity for your camera.

Waterproof Capabilities

The Insta360 X5 is waterproof up to 49ft (15m) without a case. For deeper dives or to prevent refraction and distortion, consider using the Invisible Dive Case (sold separately).

Wind Guard for Audio

The camera includes a new 4-mic array with an advanced Wind Guard to reduce wind interference and enhance voice clarity, which is beneficial for vlogs and action scenes.

The camera may experience overheating during prolonged 8K recording, especially in temperatures above 35°C. This is normal due to high image processing demands. For extended recording, consider using 5.7K resolution. Ensure proper ventilation and heat dissipation when recording in 8K.

If you encounter video deformations or horizontal lines, ensure you are using a high-quality, recognized brand MicroSD card. If the issue persists, try a different card or contact support.
