The Andoer 7-inch Standard Reflector is constructed from durable aluminum and features a highly reflective interior surface. It is designed with a Bowens standard mount for broad compatibility with various studio lighting equipment. The included 60° honeycomb grid can be easily attached to control light spill and create a more focused beam.

Attaching the Reflector to a Studio Light

1. Ensure your studio light is powered off and unplugged.
2. Align the Bowens mount on the reflector with the mounting pins on your studio light. The reflector holder diameter is 9 cm (Figure 3).
3. Push the reflector onto the light and twist clockwise until it clicks securely into place.

Attaching the Honeycomb Grid

1. Locate the 60° honeycomb grid (Figure 5).
2. Gently place the honeycomb grid into the front rim of the reflector. It is held in place by a small spring-type clip or friction fit.
3. Ensure the grid is seated flush and securely within the reflector's rim (Figure 6).

Using the Reflector

The standard reflector is designed to provide a soft and focused light output. Its reflective interior maximizes the light efficiency from your studio strobe.

Using the Honeycomb Grid

When the 60° honeycomb grid is attached, it significantly narrows the light projection range, creating a more controlled and directional light. This is ideal for creating dramatic shadow effects and highlighting specific areas of your subject, as shown in Figure 7.
