The ENERWAVE ZWN-RSM1-PLUS Z-Wave Plus Relay utilizes advanced Z-Wave technology to provide faster operation, improved RF coverage, and easier installation for your home automation system. This module is designed to be installed and "hidden" behind an existing ON/OFF switch, transforming it into a wirelessly controllable smart switch. It allows you to control connected loads (lights, fans) remotely via a Z-Wave APP on your mobile device. The ZWN-RSM1-PLUS acts as a Z-Wave repeater, extending the signal range up to 100ft, ensuring reliable communication throughout your network. A Z-Wave hub is required to control this device.

Wiring Diagram Leuwihview
The ZWN-RSM1-PLUS module connects to your existing electrical wiring. It requires connections for Neutral, Hot (Line), Load, and an Auxiliary (Aux) wire for the existing switch. Ensure all connections are secure and follow local electrical codes.

Installation Behind Existing Switch
The compact design of the ZWN-RSM1-PLUS allows it to be installed directly behind your existing wall switch within the junction box. This enables you to retain the aesthetic of your current switches while adding smart control capabilities.

Pairing with a Z-Wave Hub
Once physically installed, the ZWN-RSM1-PLUS needs to be paired with a compatible Z-Wave hub (sold separately). Follow your Z-Wave hub's instructions for adding new devices. Typically, this involves putting the hub into inclusion mode and then activating the pairing sequence on the ZWN-RSM1-PLUS module (refer to the full manual for specific button presses).

Remote Control via Z-Wave App
After successful pairing with your Z-Wave hub, you can control the connected lights or fans from anywhere using your Z-Wave hub's mobile application. This allows for convenient ON/OFF control, scheduling, and integration into smart home scenes.
