The Kestrel 3000 Pocket Weather Meter is a rugged, handheld device designed for accurate environmental measurements. 3. Setélan
3.1. Pamasangan batré
The Kestrel 3000 requires one CR2032 Lithium Metal battery. The battery compartment is located on the back of the unit.

- Using a small coin or screwdriver, turn the battery cover counter-clockwise to unlock it.

4. Parentah Operasi
4.1. Daya Hurung / Pareum
- To turn on: Press the center button (power/mode button).
- To turn off: Press and hold the center button for approximately 3 seconds until the display turns off. The unit will also automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery.
4.2. Navigating Modes
Use the left and right arrow buttons to cycle through the different measurement modes. The Kestrel 3000 offers the following modes:
- Laju Angin: Current, Average, and Maximum wind speed (displayed in mph, km/h, knots, m/s, or ft/min).
- Suhu: Air, Water, and Snow temperature (displayed in °F or °C).
- Angin tiis: Calculated wind chill temperature.
- Kalembaban relatif: Persentage kalembaban relatif.
- Heat Stress Index: Calculated heat stress index.
- Titik embun: Calculated dew point temperature.
To reset average/max values in wind speed mode, press and hold the center button while in the respective mode.

Clean the Kestrel 3000 with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the impeller area is free from debris for accurate wind speed readings.
5.2. Impeller Replacement
The Kestrel 3000 features a large, replaceable impeller. If the impeller becomes damaged or worn, it can be easily replaced to maintain accuracy. Refer to the official Kestrel website or contact support for replacement parts and instructions.
5.3. Panyimpenan
When not in use, store the Kestrel 3000 in its protective slip-on cover in a cool, dry place. For long-term storage, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent leakage.
