Thank you for choosing the HMF Digital Combination Safe Box. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your new safe. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and use, and retain them for future reference.

3. Setélan

3.1 First Opening (Using Emergency Key)

To open the safe for the first time, or if you forget your code or the batteries are depleted, use the emergency key:

  1. Locate the emergency key cover on the electronic keypad.
  2. Gently remove the cover to reveal the emergency keyhole.
  3. Insert one of the provided emergency keys into the keyhole and turn it counter-clockwise.
  4. While holding the key turned, rotate the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
  5. Remove the key and store it in a safe place, away from the safe.

3.2 Pamasangan batré

The safe requires 4 AA batteries (not included) for the electronic lock to function.

  1. Open the safe door using the emergency key (if not already open).

3.3 Pasang Aman

For enhanced security, it is recommended to mount the safe to a wall or floor.

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting, ensuring it is a solid surface.
  2. Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes on the back or bottom of the safe.
  3. Drill holes at the marked positions using an appropriate drill bit for your wall/floor material.

  5. Position the safe and secure it using the fixing screws. Tighten firmly.

4.1 Setting the User Code

The user code can be 3 to 8 digits long.

  1. With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door, near the hinge. You will hear a beep and the yellow light on the keypad will illuminate.
  2. Enter your desired new user code (3-8 digits) on the keypad.
  3. Press the '#' button to confirm. The safe will beep twice, and the yellow light will turn off, indicating the code has been set.

4.2 Opening with User Code

  1. Enter your user code (3-8 digits) on the keypad.
  2. Press the '#' button. The green light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep.

4.3 Nyetel Master Code

The master code can also be 3 to 8 digits long and provides an alternative access method.

  1. With the safe door open, press '00' on the keypad.
  2. Press the red reset button located on the inside of the door. You will hear a beep and the yellow light will illuminate.
  3. Enter your desired new master code (3-8 digits) on the keypad.
  4. Press the '#' button to confirm. The safe will beep twice, and the yellow light will turn off.

4.4 Opening with Master Code

  1. Enter your master code (3-8 digits) on the keypad.
  2. Press the '#' button. The green light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep.

To operate the safe without sound:

  1. To activate silent mode: Press '00' then '*' on the keypad.
  2. To deactivate silent mode (restore sound): Press '66' then '*' on the keypad.

4.6 External Power Supply (for Dead Batteries)

If the batteries are completely depleted and you cannot open the safe with your code:

  1. Locate the external power contacts on the keypad (usually two small metal points).

If an incorrect code is entered three consecutive times, the safe will sound an alarm for 20 seconds. If three more incorrect entries are made, the alarm will sound for 5 minutes.

To reset the safe to its factory default code (usually 159 or 1234, refer to specific model documentation if different):
