2. Powering Alat
The MS-50G can be powered in two ways:
- Batré AA: Insert two standard AA batteries into the battery compartment. The pedal provides up to seven hours of continuous mono input use and up to five hours of continuous operation with stereo inputs.

2. Effect Types and Chains
The pedal offers 55 diverse effect types, including 47 stompbox effects and 8 amp models. You can use up to six effects simultaneously and arrange them in any desired order to create complex and unique tones.
The all-new ZFX-IV DSP effects processor ensures high clarity and realistic sound reproduction, utilizing 32-bit floating-point processing.
3. Patch Management
The MS-50G allows you to create and store up to 50 original patches. 30 preprogrammed patches are included to get you started. You can program the order in which patches are recalled, allowing for seamless transitions during live performances.
4. Tuner Function
An integrated auto-chromatic tuner provides smooth, real-time response. To activate the tuner, hold down the footswitch. You can choose between BISA mode for silent tuning or BYPASS mode to tune with all effects bypassed.
5. Ketok Tempo
The tap tempo function allows you to set the tempo for time-based effects by tapping the footswitch.
6. Firmware Updates and Extra Effects
To ensure optimal performance and access to additional effects, it is recommended to regularly check the official Zoom website for the latest firmware updates. Some "extra" effects may require downloading a dedicated effects manager application and connecting the pedal to your computer via USB.
