The Sharp EL-250S calculator operates on a dual power system: solar power and a single LR44 button cell battery. In well-lit conditions, the calculator primarily uses solar power. In dim lighting or when solar power is insufficient, it automatically switches to battery power.

To calculate a percentage of a number (e.g., 10% of 200):

- Pencét %. The result (20) will be displayed.
Fungsi mémori
- M+: Nambihan nilai ditampilkeun kana mémori.

- RM (Memori Ngingetan): Recalls the value stored in memory to the display.
- CM (Hapus Mémori): Clears the memory content. Pressing RM after CM will display 0.

The calculator features dedicated keys for tax calculations. First, set the tax rate:
