This manual provides instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Pentax PF-100ED 100mm Straight Spotting Scope. 3. Installing the Eyepiece

4. Extending the Built-in Lens Shade

To minimize glare and protect the objective lens from rain or dust, extend the built-in lens shade. Gently pull the front section of the scope body forward until it locks into place.
