4. Insert the head assembly (A) into the dynamic arm.

3.3 VESA Plate Installation

Attach the VESA plate to the back of your monitor. Depending on your monitor's design, choose one of the following methods:

• **Scenario 1: Normal Use**
  Use the VESA hand-tightened screws (a) directly to secure the VESA plate to the monitor.
• **Scenario 2: If Hand-tightened Screws are Too Long**
  If the hand-tightened screws are too long, use the 4mm separation posts (d) with the hand-tightened screws to create the correct length.
• **Scenario 3: If Monitor Back is Recessed**
  If your monitor has a recessed back, use the 25mm long VESA screws (f) with the 16mm separation posts (e) to ensure proper fit.

4.5 Monitor Arm Tension Adjustment

If the monitor arm is too loose (monitor sags) or too stiff (difficult to move), you can adjust the tension:

• **If arm strength is insufficient (too loose):** Use the Allen key to turn the screw on the arm towards the '+' direction to increase tension.
• **If arm strength is too great (too stiff):** Use the Allen key to turn the screw on the arm towards the '-' direction to decrease tension.
