  1. Ensure temperature clamps are placed correctly on the liquid and suction lines.
  2. Select the appropriate refrigerant.
  3. Switch to SH/SC mode. The values will be displayed directly.

5.4 VAC Mode Operation

Use VAC mode to assess the vacuum level of a system.

  1. Connect the manifold to the system being evacuated.
  2. Select 'VAC' mode on the device.
  3. Monitor the vacuum percentage and pressure readings to determine the system's vacuum degree.

5.5 Tightness Testing with Temperature Compensation

The MS-1000S offers enhanced tightness testing by compensating for temperature variations.

  1. Initiate a tightness test via the device or the Elitech Tools app.
  2. The device will automatically apply temperature compensation to provide more accurate leak detection results.
  3. Monitor the pressure change (ΔP) over time.
