4.2. Initial Password Setting (Optional)

The password function is off by default. To enable it:

1. Navigate to "Settings" > "Password Switch" > "Password On".
2. Press the Play button to confirm.
3. After setting, you will need to enter the password every time the device is turned on. The initial password is 0000.

5.3. Voice Recording Settings

To access recording settings, press the Volume "+"/ "-" buttons to select the "recording" icon, then press the Play button to enter. Select "recording settings" and press Play again.

• Denoise: Adjust noise reduction from Off to Level 1-10.

  Turn on/off voice activated sensitivity. When "voice activated" mode is on, the device automatically senses surrounding sounds and starts recording when a certain sound standard is reached. It pauses recording when the sound falls below the standard. Not recommended for important environments. To return to normal recording, press "OFF".

During playback, long press the Menu/Return button and navigate to "Repeat Mode". The screen will show an "A-B" symbol with "B" flashing. Press the Play button to confirm the start point (A), then press Play again to confirm the end point (B). The device will repeat the selected segment. Press the Play button once more to exit A-B repeat.

5.6. Volume Control

In play or stop mode, press the Volume/Delete button to display the volume bar. Use the Volume "+"/ "-" buttons to adjust the volume. This method applies to both music playback and recording file adjustment volume.

5.7. Delete Function

In music/recording play/pause/stop mode, press the Volume/Delete button to navigate to "delete/delete all". Use "+"/ "-" to select "Yes/NO" and press the Play button to confirm deletion.

Note: Always back up important files before deleting, as they will be irreversibly removed.

1. Connect the recorder to your PC using the USB cable.
2. You can then copy or delete selected files and folders to/from your computer.
3. The device will pause its current operation when connected to a computer, except during firmware upgrades.

7.1. Format Memory

• Connect the recorder to the computer.
• For Windows, select "FAT32" low-level formatting (Windows 2000 or above).
• For Mac, select "formatted removable disk" or "Clean-up".

Note: Back up all your files before formatting, as they will be irreversibly deleted.

• Q: Some songs cannot be played on this device.
