4. Parentah Setup

4.1 Connecting the Docking Station to Mac Mini

1. Place your Mac Mini M4/M4 Pro securely on top of the UGREEN Docking Station. The docking station is designed to fit perfectly underneath your Mac Mini.
2. Connect the integrated 4cm USB-C host cable from the docking station to an available USB-C port on your Mac Mini. This cable provides power and data connectivity for all the dock's functions.
3. Ensure the Mac Mini's power button is accessible through the groove on the docking station.

4.2 M.2 NVMe SSD Installation

To expand your storage, follow these steps to install an M.2 NVMe SSD:

The docking station provides 4x USB-A and 2x USB-C ports, all supporting USB 3.2 Gen2 with 10Gbps data transfer speeds. Simply plug your USB devices (external drives, keyboards, mice, etc.) into the corresponding ports.

5.2 DisplayPort (DP) Output

Connect an external monitor to the DisplayPort on the docking station using a compatible DP cable. The dock supports:

• Up to 4K@240Hz for Mac Mini M4 Pro.
• Up to 4K@144Hz for Mac Mini M4.
• Backward compatible with 4K@144/120/60Hz, 2K@240/144/120/60Hz, 1080P@240/120/60Hz, 720P, 480P, etc.

Note: For 4K@240Hz, ensure your Mac Mini M4 Pro, monitor, and DP cable all support this resolution and refresh rate.

5.3 Dual Monitor Setup

You can set up a dual monitor display using the docking station:

1. Connect your first monitor to the DisplayPort on the docking station.
2. Connect your second monitor directly to the HDMI port on your Mac Mini.

Note: The Mac Mini M4 Pro supports 4K@240Hz via the dock's DP port, while the Mac Mini M4 delivers 4K@144Hz via the DP port.

5.4 SD & TF Card Reader

Insert your SD or TF cards into the respective slots. The card reader supports SD3.0 and allows simultaneous reading and writing of both cards at speeds up to 170MB/s.

5.5 3.5mm Port Audio

Plug in your headphones or microphone into the 3.5mm In&Out Combo port for audio input and output.
