4.1 General Upgrade Instructions

Q1: What is the WiFi password for the Wireless CarPlay Adapter?

A: You do not need a WiFi password. The adapter uses Bluetooth to establish the initial connection, and then WiFi automatically connects for data transfer. Ensure your phone's WiFi is turned on and not connected to other networks during pairing.

Q2: Android Auto function does not start or USB is not recognized after pairing.

A:

1. If this is the first time your car is using Android Auto, connect your phone to the car via a USB data cable to activate Android Auto through a wired method first.
2. Ensure that Android Auto on your Android phone is updated to the latest version.
3. Turn off your phone's Bluetooth. Go to mobile application management, search for Android Auto, and clear its cache from Google Play Services. After clearing, restart the adapter and reconnect to Bluetooth.
