4. Setup jeung Connection

4.1 Sambungan kabel

To connect the gamepad via a wired connection, simply plug the provided Type-C charging cable into the gamepad and the other end into your PC or compatible console (PS3/PS4/Switch). The gamepad should be automatically recognized by your device.

4.2 Sambungan Bluetooth

For wireless play, ensure the gamepad is charged. Activate Bluetooth pairing mode on the gamepad (refer to the specific button combination in the included User Manual for your model). Then, search for and select "FANTECH WGP14V2" on your device's Bluetooth settings (PC, Switch, PS4, PS3, iOS, MacOS, tvOS, Android).

Note: The motion sensor functionality is available in Bluetooth & Wired Mode for Switch and PS, and in Wired Mode only for PC.

5.1 Customizing Thumbsticks

To change the thumbsticks, gently pull the existing sticks upwards to remove them. Select your preferred height from the included replaceable thumbsticks and push them firmly into place until they click.

5.2 Adjusting Quick-Trigger Locks

Locate the physical switches on the underside of the triggers. Flick the switch to toggle between short-range (for faster response in FPS games) and full-range (for precise control in racing games) trigger travel.

5.3 Programming Rear Paddles

The rear paddles can be programmed to mimic other buttons or execute macros. Refer to the detailed instructions in the included User Manual for specific programming steps. This allows for quick access to complex commands during gameplay.

5.4 Adjusting Lighting Effects

The gamepad features four distinct RGB lighting effects. Use the dedicated lighting button or a combination of buttons (refer to the full User Manual) to cycle through the effects and choose your preferred aesthetic.

7.3 Motion Sensor Not Working

Verify that the motion sensor is supported on your platform and connection type. As noted, motion sensor only works in Switch (BT & Wired Mode), PS (BT & Wired Mode), and PC (wired mode). Ensure your game also supports motion controls.

7.4 PS5 Compatibility

While the controller is listed as compatible with PS4, some users have reported it may function for PS4 games when played on a PS5 console. However, native support for PS5-specific games is not guaranteed. For optimal PS5 gaming, a dedicated PS5 controller is recommended.
