For non-OBDII vehicles, both the main cable and a specific OBDI adapter are required. Power can be supplied via the vehicle's auxiliary power outlet or directly from the vehicle battery using the clamp kabel.

1. Connect the main cable's female adapter to the VCI.
2. Locate the required OBDI adapter and connect its 16-pin jack to the main cable's male adapter.
3. Connect the attached OBDI adapter to the vehicle's DLC.
4. If power is needed from the auxiliary power outlet, plug the DC power connector of the auxiliary power outlet adapter into the DC power supply input port on the device, then connect the male connector to the vehicle's auxiliary power outlet.

9.3 Pendaptaran produk

To download the latest software updates and enhance the functionality of your MaxiCOM application, you need to register your tool via the Autel User Center. Software updates are available for free for the first two years from the date of purchase.

Registration via Tablet:

1. Ketok Puseur pamaké Autel from the MaxiCOM Job Menu.
2. Log in with your Autel ID or register a new account.
3. Pilih Manajemén alat jeung ketok Patalina Alat to register your tool.

Registration via Autel Websitus:

1. Nganjang pro.autel.com.
2. Log in or register a new Autel ID.
3. Enter the required personal information and verify your email.
4. Enter your tool's serial number and password (found in Setelan > Ngeunaan on the tablet) on the Product Registration screen.

9.4 Pembaruan Parangkat Lunak

The Update application allows you to download and install the latest released software, which improves capabilities, adds new tests, expands vehicle coverage, and enhances applications.

CATETAN:

Make sure the tablet is registered before activating the Update application.

To Update the Software:

1. Power up the tablet and ensure a steady Internet connection.
2. Ketok dina Pembaruan application button from the MaxiCOM Job Menu.
3. Ketok Meunang to update specific items or Update Sadaya for all available items.
4. The software will be installed automatically upon completion.

VCI Update:

The VCI firmware can also be updated via the VCI Manager > VCI Update menu. Ensure the tablet network is stable and the VCI is connected to the tablet via USB or Bluetooth.

BAS Update:

The MaxiBAS BT506 tester's firmware can be updated via the VCI Manager > BAS Update menu. Ensure the tablet network is stable and the BT506 is connected to the tablet via Bluetooth or USB cable.
