Step-by-step guide to setting up, configuring, and activating the Spadework–Byner integration

This document outlines the steps required to integrate Spadework with Byner. It guides you step by step through setting up, configuring, and testing the integration to ensure both systems work together smoothly and securely.

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Set-up
    Open Byner and navigate to the settings icon. Then click on ‘Set up for current app’.

  2. Step 2: App management
    Go to the ‘PLATFORM TOOLS’ menu under Apps and then click on App Management. SPADEWORK-Integration-Byner  (3)
  3. Step 3: Add External Client-app
    Click on ‘New external client app’ at the top right. SPADEWORK-Integration-Byner  (4)
  4. Step 4: Fill in Basic Information SPADEWORK-Integration-Byner  (5)Fill in ‘Basic information’:
    Name: Spadework
    API name: Spadework Email: support@spadework.ai SPADEWORK-Integration-Byner  (6)
  5. Step 5: API: Filling in OAuth settings SPADEWORK-Integration-Byner  (7)
    • Call-back-URL: https://beta.spadework.ai/embedded/salesforce/redirect
    • Find in the list: Manage user data via APIs (api)
    • Perform requests at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)
    • Access content resources (content)

    • Enable Client Credentials
      Flow
    • Others unchecked
      Security:
    • Require secret for Web
    • Server Flow
    • Require secret for Web
    • Server Flow
    • Others unchecked
    • Then press ‘Create’, the app is ready! SPADEWORK-Integration-Byner  (9)
  6. Step 6: OAuth Credentials Transfer
    Open the OAuth settings (Consumer key and secret) in the external app under Settings. Copy this information and add it to the configuration in Spadework. SPADEWORK-Integration-Byner  (1)
