WARNINGS

• Please read and keep the following instructions before using the product. The original instructions are in Hungarian language. After unpacking, please make sure that the product has not been damaged during transportation. Keep children away from the packaging if it contains bags or other dangerous components.
• This appliance should be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking experience and knowledge, and children aged 8 years and over, only if they are supervised or instructed in the use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved in its safe use. Children should not play with the device. Children should not be allowed to clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance without supervision.
• For use in dry, indoor conditions only!
• In case of damage to the power adapter or any other malfunction, disconnect the power immediately and contact a professional.
• Unplug the device if you are not going to use it for a long period of time!
• Keep the cables connecting the units away from other network cables!
• Using thin and/or excessively long cables may cause a deterioration in sound and picture quality.
• Do not operate the device near strong magnetic fields!
• Protect from dust, moisture, liquid, humidity, frost, impact and direct heat or sunlight.
• Do not splash water on the appliance or place objects filled with liquids, such as a glass, on the appliance.
• Open flame sources, such as burning candles, must not be placed on the appliance!
• Do not dismantle or modify the appliance as this may cause fire, accident or electric shock!
• Due to the presence of mains voltage, observe the usual life safety rules!
• Do not touch the device or the adapter with wet hands!

Caution: Risk of electric shock! Do not attempt to disassemble of modify the unit or its accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the assistance of a specialist.

DISPOSAL

Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equip-ment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks imposed upon the manufacturer pursuant to the relevant regulations and shall bear all associated costs arising from such.

APPLICATION
The device is ideal as a replacement for conventional audio intercom systems or doorbells. The quality of sound and picture depends on the distance between the devices and the wire cross-section used. You can also use a different cable instead of the supplied one. For a given  length, we recommend the following minimum cable cross-sections: 0-10m: 4×0.3mm2 / 30m: 4×0.5mm2 / 50m: 4×0.75mm2 For interference-free signal transmission, use shielded wiring between units! When using 8-conductor wires, it is recommended to connect the excess conductors in parallel with the wires used, thus increasing the effective cross-section and improving transmission. If an electrical lock is used, 2×1,0mm2 wire should be used! For the installation of the intercom system, please seek professional help!

COMMISSIONING

Outdoor unit
Care must be taken to protect against the weather. Install the outdoor unit in a place protected from precipitation and direct sunlight. Sunlight may affect the image quality! If necessary, use an individual shading cover! The external unit is powered from the monitor. Connect it with the spring connectors (without tools) according to the wiring diagram. After mounting the raincover frame, place the camera on the hanger on the inside of the frame and fix it to the frame with a short screw (supplied). Finally, remove the protective film around the lens!
Before final recording, test the correct operation (camera angle of view, volume, etc.). On the back (adjustable with a screwdriver) you will find two controls for adjusting the volume and the sensitivity of the microphone.

Indoor unit
Depending on the distance between the two units, the connection cable supplied in the package can be replaced by a specialist as described in the paragraph “APPLICATION”. The necessary wiring must be obtained separately according to individual requirements. A wire with a larger cross-section will generally result in better image quality. The wire should be protected from the weather and from physical influences. The external camera should be plugged into the DOOR1 connector. Before connecting the power adapter, check that it is connected correctly. Finally, remove the protective film from the screen.
The system can be expanded by purchasing another identical set. The system can consist of 2 outdoor units, 2 electric locks, 4 monitors, 4 CCTV surveillance cameras

RECEPTION OF VISITORS
Pressing the external unit’s bell button causes the monitor to play the bell tone once. It is recommended to select a longer melody in the menu to make sure the visitor is detected. You have 1 minute to answer the call. The monitor displays the visitor’s picture.
If you want to talk to him, press the ANSWER button. The electric lock (option) can be opened by pressing the OPEN button, the guest can be let in. When the conversation is finished, press the OPEN button. This ends the call and turns off the monitor. The monitor will also switch off automatically after about 2 minutes, the maximum duration of the call. If you have more than one outdoor unit, the top left corner of the screen will show which outdoor unit is ringing, e.g. “DOOR1”.
If you don’t want to be disturbed, you can turn off the sound by touching the MOVE button. Touch again to turn it off. This function also works in standby mode.

OUTLOOKING
In standby mode, you can check the entrance area by touching the EXIT button. Pressing the EXIT button – or after about 1 minute – will switch it off. If you also touch the ANSWER button, you can make an announcement through the external speaker.
If more than one outdoor unit is connected, you can activate them with additional touches: DOOR1 outdoor unit, DOOR2 outdoor unit, CCTV camera, power off (if no optional outdoor unit is connected, a blue screen is displayed)
In dark, low-light conditions, the camera automatically switches to black and white mode for greater sensitivity.

USING THE MENU
By repeatedly pressing the top button on the right of the monitor, you can select the function you want to control with the two buttons below it. The options are displayed on the screen. Adjust the picture quality and sound to your preference.

LOCK OPENING FUNCTION
The LOCK+ and LOCK- connectors on the back of the external unit switch the electric lock. The electric lock is not part of the package. It must be supplied and installed according to the individual requirements and door design. The lock can be opened from the inner unit by means of a touch button. If an external door opening circuit is not used, the power requirement of the electric lock should not exceed 6V DC / 500mA / 3W! To operate a higher power lock, an external power supply and relay must be used, but this is recommended in principle in all cases to avoid malfunctions!
The blue colour of the bell button changes while the lock is open (approx.3s). The lock can be opened in lookout, ring and talk mode.

CLEANING
Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the mains by unplugging it! Use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or liquids! Dry wipes can scratch the screen and the camera!

TROUBLESHOOTING

• there is no sound or picture, check
  • whether the connection is as specified
  • whether there is a mains power supply
  • whether any of the wires are damaged
• If the conversation is unaudible or the picture quality is poor, check
  • if the used wire has a sufficiently large cross-section
  • the recommended distances are not exceeded
  • no nearby electrical equipment or cables interfere with operation
