Highlights
This Android 14 AOSP release 14-28-03.00-UN-U60-STD-ATH-04 is the official release on Android 14, supporting TC53, TC73, TC22, HC20, HC50, TC27, ET60, TC58 devices. Please see device compatibility under Addendum Section for more details.
This release requires a mandatory step OS Update method to upgrade to A14 BSP software from A11. Please refer for more details under “OS Update Installation Requirements and Instructions” section.
For devices TC22, TC27, HC20, HC50, HC25 and HC55 when upgrading from Android 13 to Android 14 OS it is mandatory to first install March 2025 Android 13 LifeGuard release (13-39-18) or higher, before proceeding with any updates to the Android 14 OS.

OS Update Installation Requirements and Instructions
For devices TC53, TC73 to update from A11 to this A14 release, user must follow below steps: · Step-1: Device MUST have A11 May 2023 LG BSP Image 11-21-27.00-RG-U00-STD version or a greater A11 BSP version installed which is available on zebra.com portal.
· Step-2: Upgrade to this release A14 BSP version 14-28-03.00-UN-U00-STD-ATH-04. For more detailed instructions refer A14 6490 OS update instructions
· For devices TC53, TC73 and ET60 to update from A13 to this A14 release, user must follow below steps: · Step-1: Device must have Android 13 September LifeGuard release (13-33-18) or higher version installed which is available on zebra.com portal.
· Step-2: Upgrade to this release A14 BSP version 14-28-03.00-UN-U00-STD-ATH-04. For more detailed instructions refer A14 6490 OS update instructions .

Known Constraint
· Limitation of Battery Stats in COPE mode. · System settings access (Access Manager) – Reduced settings with Accessibility allow users to access
application permissions, using Privacy Indicators. · On devices running Android 14:
o If an on-docking app behaviors are configured with five or more apps and the device is continuously docked and undocked, a fully black or half-black screen might be displayed on the primary device.
o REMEDY: Fully black screen: Reboot the device Half-black screen: Clear apps from the recent apps list on the primary device or reboot
