THE PARTITION SENSOR MUST BE IN LINE WITH THE REFLECTOR AND WITHIN 10′ OR LESS.

TIPS / NOTES
- ONCE THE DIGITAL INPUT INTERFACE (DI) IS POWERED ON VIA THE SMARTNET, THE PARTITION SENSOR AND DI CAN BE TESTED.
- IF WIRED CORRECTLY THE PARTITION SENSOR WILL HAVE A VISIBLE RED LED.
- THE REFLECTOR CAN THEN BE MOVED IN FRONT OF THE SENSOR. THIS SHOULD CAUSE AN
- AUDIBLE CLICK INSIDE THE DI. IF CLICK IS NOT HEARD, VERFIY WIRING.
- PARTITION SENSOR ONLY FUNCTIONS WITH THE ROOM MANAGER.
Installation
- Ensure the Partition Sensor is mounted in line with the reflector and within 10 feet or less.
- Connect the Digital Interface (DI) following the wiring instructions provided.
- Power on the Digital Input Interface (DI) via SmartNet for testing.
Testing
- Once powered on, check for a visible red LED on the Partition Sensor.
- Move the reflector in front of the sensor to trigger an audible click inside the DI.
- If no click is heard, verify the wiring connections.
Compatibility
The Partition Sensor only functions with the Room Manager system.
