Product Information

Specifications

  • Model: CGI POMIAROWE C-PV
  • Version: 1.00
  • Date: 13.05.2025

Product Usage Instructions

Description

  • The CGI POMIAROWE C-PV meter should be connected to the MPI-540-PV meter via the WAADACPV adapter.

Safety

  • Ensure that the current indication is closest to zero.

Operation

  • Maintain the slot (created from the core front surfaces) in perfect cleanliness.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Caution: Only use the maintenance methods provided by the manufacturer in this manual.
  • Remove dust from the slot using a soft, dry cloth. Periodically wipe the available iron core slot with an oil-soaked cloth to prevent corrosion.
  • Dispose of used electrical and electronic equipment selectively, without mixing with other types of waste.

Reference Conditions

  • Ensure alignment with the jaws and maintain a constant magnetic field.

Additional Information

  • (Additional information from the manual can be added here as needed.)

Description

  • The C-PV clamp is used for ISC DC measurements and DC measurements of the modules at the input of the inverter.
  • For the MPI-540-PV meter, connect the clamp via the WAADACPV adapter.

Safety

  • Sonel-PVM-1020-C-PV-Current-Clamp-FIG-1NOTE! Do not expose the clamp to water.

Operation

  • To measure the current, open the clamp slightly by turning the clasp, clamp it on the conductor with flowing current and roughly centre the conductor relative to the clamp loop.

Correcting zero indication for DC measurements

  • Connect the clamps to the meter, and turn on the clamps.
  • Use the DC ZERO knob to reset the clamps to the current indication closest to zero.
  • The gap (formed by the faces of the core) should be kept perfectly clean.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Sonel-PVM-1020-C-PV-Current-Clamp-FIG-1NOTE! Apply only maintenance methods specified by the manufacturer in this manual.
  • Before cleaning, disconnect the clamp from the tested circuit and the meter. Do not spray the clamps with water.
  • Remove the dust from the gap with a soft and dry cloth. Periodically wipe the accessible iron part of the jaws with an oil-soaked cloth to prevent possible corrosion.
  • The clamp may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth using all-purpose detergents. Do not use any solvents.

Dismantling and utilisation

  • Worn-out electric and electronic equipment should be gathered selectively, i.e. it must not be placed with waste of another kind.
  • Worn-out electric equipment should be sent to a collection point under the law on waste electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Before the equipment is sent to a collection point, do not dismantle any elements.
  • Observe the local regulations concerning dis-posal of packages.
