Product Usage Instructions
1. Power on/off
Long-press the wireless controller button for 3 seconds to power
on/off. It will automatically power off after 5 minutes of
inactivity when not connected to a mobile phone, and after 30
minutes when connected.
2. Connection
After powering on, the green light will flash for Bluetooth
pairing. Search for SmallRig WR-06 in your phone’s Bluetooth list.
The green light will turn off once the pairing is successful.
3. Shooting
In the phone’s shooting interface, press the button to take a
photo in photo mode, or start/stop recording in video mode.
4. Off-camera shooting
To shoot off-camera, remove the controller from the frame within
a range of up to 15 meters without obstruction.
5. Charging
Charge using the Type-C port. The red light indicates charging
and turns off when complete.
6. Compatibility instructions
You can use a strap or lanyard for convenient carrying as shown
in the figure.

Using the wireless controller: Power on/off Connection Shooting Off-camera shooting Charging Compatibility instructions
1 Power on/off
Long-press the wireless controller button for 3 seconds to power on/off. When no operation is performed and the controller is not connected to a mobile phone, it will automatically power off after 5 minutesWhen connected to a mobile phone, it will automatically power off after 30 minutes.
2 Connection
After powering on the wireless controller, the green light will flash and enter the Bluetooth pairing mode. Search for “SmallRig WR-06” in the Bluetooth connection list of your mobile phone. When pairing is successful, the green light will turn off.
3 Shooting
Enter the mobile phone shooting interface. In photo mode, press the button to take a photo. In video mode, press the button once to start recording and press again to stop recording.
4 Off-camera shooting
Take the wireless controller out of the expansion frame to enable immediate shooting (effective range: within 15 meters without obstruction).
5 Charging
Charge via the Type-C charging port. The red light will stay on during charging and turn off when charging is complete.
6 Compatibility instructions
· Android: Compatible with API Level 21 (Android 5.0+). · iOS: Compatible with iOS 11.0.
