Rechargeable battery safety
Incorrect battery use may result in battery leakage, overheating, or explosion. When using batteries, make sure that you follow these instructions:
- Keep batteries out of reach of children.
- Do not heat, open, puncture, mutilate, or dispose of batteries in fire.
- If a battery leaks, remove the battery, taking care to keep the leaked fluid from touching your skin or clothes. If fl uid from the battery comes into contact with skin or clothes, fl ush skin with water or remove the clothing immediately. Before inserting a new battery, thoroughly clean the controller with a damp paper towel.
- Do not allow metal objects to touch the battery terminals, because they can become hot and cause burns. For example, do not carry the battery in a pocket with keys or coins.
- Remove the battery when the product will not be used for an extended period of time.

Before using your new product, please read these instructions to prevent any damage.
Setting up
Setting up the rechargeable battery pack
- Press the tab on the top of the controller’s battery compartment cover, then and pull down to detach the original battery from the controller.
- Insert the rechargeable battery pack into the battery compartment, then press it in to lock it into place.
- Turn on your wireless controller.
Charging the rechargeable battery pack
Charge your battery pack before its first use and whenever it is drained.
- Insert the charging plug into the charge port on the front of your wireless controller.
- Connect the USB plug to any USB port of your Xbox 360.
- Turn on your console.
The charge indicator on the front of the plug glows red as the battery pack charges. When the light glows green, the battery pack is fully charged.
Notes:
- Fully charging the battery can take up to 7 hours using the play and charge cable.
- The battery pack may become warm during charging or use. This is normal and does not indicate a problem.
- It can take from three to fi ve full charge cycles for the battery pack to achieve its full capacity.
Cautions:
- Do not touch the metal terminals on the play and charge cable or rechargeable battery pack with your fingers or allow metal parts to touch them. Doing so may damage them.
- If the battery pack is unused for a long time, it may lose its charge, so you must recharge the battery pack.
- The battery pack has a limited life. The amount of play time will decrease as it ages or after many recharge cycles. The battery pack should be replaced when play time becomes too short or when it can no longer be charged.
Troubleshooting
If the controller does not work when using the rechargeable battery pack:
- Check the charge level of the battery pack. Charge until the green charge indicator glows.
- Make sure that the battery pack is inserted correctly.
- Test the controller using AA batteries. If the controller still does not work, refer to the controller’s user manual for more troubleshooting tips.
Charge Indicator does not glow: - Make sure that the charging plug is completely inserted into the charge port.
- Check the USB plug connections.
- Make sure that the console is turned on.

90-day limited warranty
Rocketfish sh Products (“Rocketfi sh”) warrants to you, the original purchaser of this new
RF-GXBX1102 (“Product”), that the Product shall be free of defects in the original manufacture of the material or workmanship for 90 days from the purchase of the Product (“Warranty Period”). This Product must be purchased from an authorized dealer of Rocketfish sh brand products and packaged with this warranty statement. This warranty does not cover refurbished Products. If you notify Rocketfi sh during the Warranty Period of a defect covered by this warranty that requires service, terms of this warranty apply.
How long does the coverage last?
The Warranty Period lasts for 90 days, beginning on the date you purchased the Product. The purchase date is printed on the receipt you received with the product.
What does this warranty cover?
During the Warranty Period, if the original manufacture of the material or workmanship of the Product is determined to be defective by an authorized Rocketfi sh repair center or store personnel, Rocketfish sh will (at its sole option): (1) repair the Product with new or rebuilt parts; or (2) replace the Product at no charge with new or rebuilt comparable products or parts. Products and parts replaced under this warranty become the property of Rocketfish sh and are not returned to you. If service of Products and parts are required after the Warranty Period expires, you must pay all labor and parts charges. This warranty lasts as long as you own your Rocketfi sh Product during the Warranty Period. Warranty coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the Product.

If you purchased the Product at a retail store location, take your original receipt and the Product to the store you purchased it from. Make sure that you place the Product in its original packaging or packaging that provides the same amount of protection as the original packaging. If you purchased the Product from an online web site, mail your original receipt and the Product to the address listed on the website. Make sure that you put the Product in its original packaging or packaging that provides the same amount of protection as the original packaging.
Where is the warranty valid?
This warranty is valid only to the original purchaser of the Product in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
What does the warranty not cover?
This warranty does not cover:
- Customer instruction
- Installation
- Set up adjustments
- Cosmetic damage
- Damage due to acts of God, such as lightning strikes
- Accident
- Misuse
- Abuse
- Negligence
- Commercial use
- Modifi cation of any part of the Product, including the antenna
This warranty also does not cover: - Damage due to incorrect operation or maintenance
- Connection to an incorrect voltage supply
- Attempted repair by anyone other than a facility authorized by Rocketfi sh to service the Product
- Products sold as is or with all faults
- Consumables, such as fuses or batteries
- Products where the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed
REPAIR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY.
