WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury, fire, explosion, electric shock or property damage, follow the warnings and instructions in this document.

Close supervision is needed when used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
If t he product is not operating properly, visit ninjakitchen.com/support or contact SharkNinja Operating LLC for examination, repair, or adjustment.

Electrical and Fire Safety

  1. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not force into outlet or try to modify to fit.
  2. Do not carry the appliance by the power cord or pull it to disconnect from electrical socket; grasp the plug and pull to disconnect. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions.
  3. Do not immerse cord, plugs, or body of machine in water or other liquid.
  4. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of counter. Do not use an extension cord. A short power supply cord is used to reduce the risk of children grabbing the cord or becoming entangled in it, and to reduce the risk of people tripping over a longer cord.
  5. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Product Set-Up for Use

  1. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, on a stovetop, or close to flame. Do not leave in direct sunlight.
  2. Use only in an upright position, on a dry, clean, flat, level, stable surface.
  3. Do not fill water reservoir with anything other than clean non-carbonated water. Other liquid types could damage components that ensure safe operation.
  4. Indoor use only; do not use outdoors.

High Pressure Carbon Dioxide (CO2) – Explosion Hazard If Heated or Damaged

  1. Do not expose the CO2 canister to temperatures above 120°F/50°C and keep out of direct sunlight.
  2. Inspect the CO2 canister and valve prior to installation for dents, punctures, or other damage.
Do not use if wrap, seal, or valve appears to be damaged or tampered with. If damaged, contact ninjakitchen.com/support.
  3. ONLY hand-tighten the CO2 canister. Do not use tools. This can damage the product and the O-ring or CO2 canister.

HELPFUL TIPS

SYSTEM TIPS

  • NEVER put the water reservoir or Flavored Water Drops in the freezer.
  • ALWAYS store water reservoir in the refrigerator for cold, ready-to-carbonate water.
  • Set your refrigerator to 37°F to ensure water will reach an optimally cold temperature.
  • Run a Chill Cycle for best carbonation experience. A Chill Cycle can be completed by making a 6 oz. still drink with ice cold water. Before dispensing ensure Cold Water Indicator is bright blue.

BEVERAGE MAKING TIPS

  • The colder the water, the stronger the carbonation.
  • Higher carbonation enhances the sweetness and aroma of the Flavored Water Drops.
  • Each 60 L CO2 canister will make 50–100 12 oz. drinks depending on level of carbonation.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

HOW DO I TURN MY THIRSTI™ DRINK SYSTEM OFF?

  • The Thirsti™ Drink System will enter a sleep mode after 10 minutes of no use. To wake the system, press any button.
  • To completely shut down the Thirsti Drink System, unplug the unit.

WHY IS MY UNIT NOT CARBONATING?

  • Ensure CO2 canister is fully installed inside the CO2 door. If canister can still turn to the right, continue to twist until it can no longer turn.
  • Reminder to only use Ninja Thirsti™ CO2 Canisters as other screw in–style canisters might not be compatible.

HOW DO I ENTER ULTRA LOW SPARKLING MODE?

  • Use Ultra Low Carbonation to make a very lightly carbonated drink. To initiate Ultra Low sparkling, simultaneously hold down the NINJA-WC2001-Max-Custom-Hydration-System-FIG- (13) button + combo NINJA-WC2001-Max-Custom-Hydration-System-FIG- (16) button. A single Sparkling LED will blink to confirm Ultra Low Sparkling state has been entered. Ultra Low Sparkling will turn off when another Sparkling level is chosen or the unit is unplugged and plugged back in.

WHY IS THE NINJA-WC2001-Max-Custom-Hydration-System-FIG- (13)BUTTON ORANGE?

  • The NINJA-WC2001-Max-Custom-Hydration-System-FIG- (13)button turns orange to indicate low CO2. When the button turns orange, there is enough CO2 for approximately 25 12 oz. drinks.
  • After installing a new canister, reference “CO2 Replacement” for instructions on resetting the CO2 Low indicator.

DID YOU END YOUR CYCLE BY PRESSING START?

  • If you pressed the start button during a cycle, the product will prompt you to drain. See below for instruction on completing a Drain Dispense.

WHY IS “DRAIN” SHOWING ON MY UNIT?

  • If the last dispense cycle was interrupted, then water must be drained from the unit. Place a cup under the nozzle and press the start button to allow a Drain Dispense to complete. The unit must run a Drain Dispense before another drink can be made. It will take approximately 30 seconds to complete the Drain Dispense.

WHY WON’T MY UNIT RUN?

  • Ensure mixing chamber seal above the mixing chamber is fully installed.
  • Check that the Mixing Chamber is installed.
  • Ensure the unit is plugged into a working outlet. The display panel will illuminate when power is detected.
  • Ensure water has been added to the water reservoir and there is no blockage on the docking station.

WHY CAN’T I MAKE A COMBO DRINK ON 6 OZ.?

  • The combo function is only available when a 12 oz., 18 oz., or 24 oz. size is selected.

BEVERAGE DISPLAY LIGHT IS BLINKING.

  • An error has occurred. Unplug the unit and reseat the water reservoir, ensuring it is filled. Wait 30 seconds before plugging back in. If the issue persists, contact Ninja Customer Support at 1-855-427-5130.

NO OR LOW FLAVOR IN DRINK.

  • Remove Flavored Water Drops from Flavor Carriage and ensure that it is not empty. When empty, the Flavored Water Drops bottle will feel light and have a minimal amount of liquid left inside.
  • Install the Flavored Water Drops into the Flavor Carriage, ensuring it is seated completely. Set corresponding flavor strength on the display panel to classic or bold strength. NINJA-WC2001-Max-Custom-Hydration-System-FIG- (26)

WHY IS WATER SPLATTERING?

  • Some splatter is normal. Elevate the cup tray, when possible, to reduce the distance between the cup and dispense outlet.

WHY DOES MY SYSTEM FLASH DIFFERENT COLORS?

  • The Ninja Thirsti™ features innovative flavor line detection. The flashing lights help the machine detect which type of Flavored Water Drops is installed and how much fluid should be dispensed.
