Safety Instructions
- DO NOT use non-compliant power supplies. This is a fire hazard and may cause unit malfunction.
- DO NOT use the unit outdoors. It is designed for indoor use only.
- DO NOT expose the unit to extreme humidity or immersing it in water.
- DO NOT install the unit over open water.
- ENSURE that the back plate is properly mounted to a steady surface. Improper mounting may lead to detachment of the plate and controller.

- 1 x USB-C to USB-C Cable
- 2 x Nylon Anchors
- 1 x Magnetic Back Plate

Getting Started
Step 1: Power & Connection
- Insert the USB-C to USB-C cable into the port on both the controller and HyperReef Gen 2.
- Plug the HyperReef Gen 2 to the power supply and plug the AC cable of the power supply into a wall outlet.
NOTE For HyperReef Gen 1, use 3.5mm TRRS Audio Cables to connect lights (HyperReef 50/100/ 150) to the controller and to daisy-chain the lights together. (Cables not included)
Step 2: Set Up
- Press
to enter tab options. - Use the Direction Pad to navigate to the Setting tab. Press to access the settings.
- Press
to return to tab options.
Step 3: Program
- Use the Direction Pad to navigate to the Program tab. Press to access the programs.
- Use the Direction Pad to select a preset program or to create a new one. Press to enter.
- For a new program, press
to switch between Easy Set and Pro Set.
Easy Set
- Press
for functional settings navigation. Press a for value adjustment.
Pro Set
- Press to select a time point. Press to access detailed settings.
- Pressfor functional settings navigation. Pressfor value adjustment.
- Press to escape and save the current time point settings.
Step 4: Choose Mode
- Use the Direction Pad to navigate to the Dashboard tab.
- Press to access the dashboard, then pressto choose a program.
- Press to set manual color details or to view the program’s current intensities.
Step 5: Mounting
- Use provided screws to mount the magnetic back plate to a wooden surface.
- If mounting to drywall, pre-drill two 6mm holes and insert nylon anchors before screwing the plate in.
