Installation Guide
- ChronoMEDIC Production must be closed.
- Connect the grey wire to the base.
- Plug the base into the USB port on the computer.
- Wait for the computer to detect it (about 10 seconds).
- Place the scanner on the base, and a series of different sound signals will be heard.
- When the light on the scanner flashes green, scan the following bar codes, and another series of different sound signals will be heard.
- Wait for the computer to detect it.
- Open ChronoMEDIC Production, normally a message for adding the device should appear, otherwise:
- Go to the Utilities tab.
- CONFIGURATION button, then the USB button.
- Click on the new device and scan your employee card, it should appear in the square at the bottom.
- Go to the Consultation tab.
- HISTORY (tray or product).
- Scan your employee card.
- Check that an error message is displayed (ex.: Product xxx doesn’t exist).
- IMPORTANT: disable power management on the computer the scanner is plugged into, otherwise it will not recharge when ChronoMEDIC Production is not open.
