- Ensure CANNY Interface is installed in the vehicle.

Battery Replacement:
To change the battery:
1. Hold the Smart Button on a surface.
2. Twist the button anti-clockwise to open.
3. Remove the old CR2032 battery with the ‘+’ side facing up.
4. Insert a new CR2032 battery.
5. Reattach the top part of the Smart Button by twisting
clockwise.

To get started with your CANNY Smart Button, please ensure you have a CANNY Interface installed to the vehicle, and that channels have been assigned to the CANNY outputs.
For more information on how to install CANNY, please click or scan the QR code.
When installing a smart button for the first time, it is recommended to ensure the CANNY.LZR app is updated to the latest version.
STEP 1.
From the Output Select Page, click the menu option in the topright corner.
STEP 3.
Click `Start Searching’. Follow the on-screen instructions.
STEP 5.
Click `Configure Smart Button’.
STEP 2.
Click `Smart Buttons’. (Note: it may be required to perform a firmware update 2.1.0 or above required.)
STEP 4.
Click the icon to access the Smart Button menu.
STEP 6.
Assign the button to a specific (pre-defined) function(s).
BUTTON FUNCTIONS
CLICK (Single Press): To toggle a function off and back on, once it has been activated by the vehicle CAN bus. HOLD (>1 Sec): To override a vehicle function, e.g. a driving light synced with the vehicle high beam, but that can instead be turned on independently. (Note: operation would reset once an on/off condition is received through the CAN bus). DOUBLE-CLICK: Used to temporarily disable the assigned function, e.g. a driving light synced with the vehicle high beam, can be disabled independently of the vehicle high beam. (Note: operation would reset after another double-click, or the CAN bus restarts after being inactive).
FACTORY RESET
Required if a Smart Button has previously been paired with a different CANNY complete the steps below for a Battery Change, but within 5secs of re-installing the battery, press and hold the button for 10secs.
HOW TO CHANGE THE BATTERY
With the Smart Button held on a surface, twist the button anti-clockwise. Remove the old battery and replace with a new CR2032 battery (`+’ side facing up). Reattach the top part of the Smart Button by twisting clockwise.
