About This Guide
Purpose
This guide explains the setup and operation of the TouchTunes 27 MHz frequency wireless remote control, P/N 700842-001 (which should be ordered as P/N 600330-001) and the 433 MHz frequency wireless remote control, P/N 700841-001 (which should be ordered as P/N 600329-001).

Overview
The TouchTunes single-frequency wireless remote control has integrated flash memory to help prevent it from losing its ID when the batteries drain.
It is RF-based, which eliminates the need to point it directly at the jukebox and is powered by two (2) 1.5V AAA batteries (included with the remote).
The black remote transmits a 27 MHz signal [ Figure 1 – 27 MHz Remote (Black) ]

Installing the Batteries
- Using a cross-head screwdriver, remove the battery cover plate;
- Install the batteries in the remote;
- Close the battery cover plate and fasten the screw.
Setting the Remote Control ID
- Press and hold the POWER and F4 keys at the same time for approximately five (5) seconds. The remote will switch into a state where it is ready to set a new Control ID and the indicator LED lights up and stays on.
- Press one of the 28 keys corresponding to the HEX code desired to select a unique Control ID (refer to section [4] – Remote Functions).
The remote is now ready to be synced to the jukebox.
Remote Functions
NOTE: Jukes using Gen3 cannot use Control-ID 000.
NOTE: The QR Code on the remote enables quick access to the online Quick Refence Guide (QRG).
Learning the Remote ID
On the Operator Menu, open the Hardware Options screen.
- Press the LEARN button.
- Watch the display. When prompted, press the MIC VOL UP key on the remote control.
The display will show a success message and return to the Options screen. - Test the remote by raising and lowering the jukebox volume as it is playing.
Key Assignments and Functionality
NOTE: Only the volumes of activated zones can be controlled; volume buttons for zones that are not activated will have no effect

CAUTION: Dispose of used batteries in accordance with the regulations in your area. Do not incinerate.
