Get Started
- Plug in the USB wall charger to a power source.
- Insert the wider USB-A end of the power cable into the USB wall charger.
- Connect the slimmer USB-C end of the power cable to the matching port located on the back side of the iQ Wave Party Speaker.
Notes:
Fully charge the speaker before the first use. The battery level indicator lights flash when charging and remain solid when fully charged. If the speaker is low on battery power, it will sound a prompt once every 60 seconds, after 3 prompts the speaker will shut down.
Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power Button
for 3 seconds to power on the speaker, the LED indicator lights will turn on.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button
for 3 seconds to power off the speaker, the LED indicator lights will turn off.
Connect with Bluetooth
- Turn on the speaker, the Bluetooth indicator light will start flashing.
- On your device, search for the Bluetooth connection menu.
- Select IQWPS1 from the list. When connected correctly, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will go solid.
Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at the same time. If you want to connect another device to the speaker, then you must first disconnect the current one.
Disconnecting the Speaker
When it’s connected via Bluetooth, press and hold the Bluetooth Button to disconnect. When it’s disconnect with your device, the Bluetooth indicator light will start flashing.
Reconnecting the Speaker
Some Bluetooth devices support automatic reconnection, with those devices the speaker will automatically reconnect. When it’s not connected, press and hold the Bluetooth Button to connect to the last disconnected device.
Volume
When listening to music:
- Short press the Volume Up / Next Button
to increase volume
- Short press the Volume Down / Previous Button
to decrease volume
Music
- Short Press the Play / Pause Button
to play and pause music
- When listening to music:
- Press and hold the Volume Up / Next Button
to go to the next song
- Press and hold the Volume Down / Previous Button
to go to the previous song
- Press and hold the Volume Up / Next Button
Party Broadcast Mode
You can wirelessly connect 2 iQ Party Speakers together to enter Party Broadcast mode:
- Turn off Bluetooth connect on your device and power on both speakers
- Press and hold the Play / Pause Button
on one of the speakers for 3 seconds until you hear the speaker’s notification sound indicating that the pairing is successful
- Then, turn on the Bluetooth connection on your device and connect with the speaker again.
- Now you can play music under Party Broadcast Mode.
- The two speakers will be automatically paired every time they turn on together. To exit Party Broadcast Mode, press and hold the Base
- Boost Button
on one of the speakers for 5 seconds, all the pairing information for that speaker will be cleared.
Light Effects
- Short press the Light Effect Button
to turn on and switch between 6 different light effects.
- While playing music, the Multi-color light rings will flash with the rhythm of the music.
- Press and hold the Light Effect Button
to turn off the light.
Bass Boost
Short press the Bass Boost Button to turn Bass Boost On / Off.
Music Source
- iQ Party Speaker supports music playback via Bluetooth and AUX, it also supports playback MP3 files stored in micro-SD cards and USB drives.
- Short press the Bluetooth Button
to switch between music sources: Bluetooth, micro-SD, AUX, USB.
Micro SD Card
Insert the micro SD card to the slot at the back of speaker to play the MP3 files stored in the card.
Audio Cable Connection
To connect other audio device to the speaker, connect the device with a 3.5mm audio cable (not included), and plug into the AUX port at the back of speaker.
USB Mode
- Insert the USB drive to the USB-A port at the back of speaker to play the MP3 files stored in the USB drive.
- The USB-A port at the back of speaker can also charge your device with 5V/1A power.
Microphone
- Connect a wired microphone to the Microphone / Guitar Port at the back of the speaker for Karaoke.
- Turn Microphone Volume Control knob to increase / decrease microphone volume.
- Turn Echo Control knob to increase / decrease microphone echo.
Guitar
- To connect a guitar: Power on the speaker, connect guitar with a 6.35mm cable to the Microphone/ Guitar Port at the back of speaker, press Power button once, the Bass Boost Indicator Light will turn orange. Now, guitar can be played via speaker.
- Turn the Guitar Volume Control Knob to increase / decrease guitar volume.
Reset Function
Press and hold the reset button inside the aux port with a clip for 6 seconds to automatically reset the speaker and turn it off.
Automatic Turn off Function
The speaker will automatically turn off after 10 minutes when Bluetooth is not connected and no music is playing.
